Have some friends that I'll miss. Don't want to leave them hanging by just disappearing over night. Sending the "thx for everything bro" text is also scarring in somewhat. And obviously if I tell them my plan, then they'll want to stop me.

Any ideas how to go about this? Saying goodbye?

I guess that's why people leave notes? Seems like the best way.
