They have deleted my posts many times despite not breaking any of the rules. This is the true SanctionedSuicide and not that one.... The mods just delete posts and refuse to talk with you.

I don't use reddit for anything SS related anymore. Reddit has made it clear to us that they won't tolerate it.
I'm honestly just waiting for TTG to get banned too. If it stays up, I'll be actually shocked.

I feel that the mods at TTG are being extra cautious (which is perfectly understandable) in order not to get banned.
I don't feel that reddit is a suitable platform for this community. No matter what, over there we will get censored.
I do wish that more people would join this site.

Many are lurkers...they don't post or comment...But this site is slowly but surely growing... This is still nice though.

Fucking literally, I couldn't agree more, and in the interest of venting: TTG is a fucking joke, it was already a restrictive shell of a sub but it became a fucking mockery with some of the added mods and their absurd crackdowns, whose supposed pro-choice stance seems more like pro-whatever-reddit's-stance-is with little to no sympathy for the users. And frankly, u/I_Tonya can go fuck themselves, they are on some convoluted power trip; it's one thing to uphold necessary rules in an attempt to extend the life of a dying sub, it's another to go on a deletion tirade comparable to reddit's own and then be a complete and utter fucking cunt about it.

You need to understand that reddit is pretty much a mainstream site and they need/want investors and advertisers . Having controversial content is NEVER a good idea. Suicide is controversial so the sub gets removed. Simple. I wouldn't be surprised if we find out they're angling for an IPO or something like that.

Forgot to address ttg - I have no idea why they even bother. That place is going to get nuked any day now.

Perfectly said. Tonya is an abusive child. Deleted my posts without warning for no reason. Asked what rules I broke and she gave me 2/3 warnings, bout to ban me. The others just defend ttg and suck the mods all day long.

Deleted all my posts, they don't deserve me.

Reddit is filled with bots that are programmed by people and groups with their own agenda, you only need a few bots and a few sock puppets to steer people in the direction you want as people have no energy or care to detect bs when it's obvious.

Apart from the bots you get the same "loving souls" who are around you everyday, the only difference is that it's more like the shitholes in this world where people won't wear "masks" and act like monsters to survive.

To think you could be getting into a brutal argument, or you could be making your opinions of humankind, based on some damn bot that's only as real as a few lines of code? This is real. We can't fricking trust anyone. At least in the old days you could be sure that the person you're talking to, though he/she may be an asshole, is a real human being. But now it's like half the things we read on the internet are aliens posing as human and sent to destroy us.

Anyway, that said, I stopped trusting all major online communities, reddit, facebook, youtube, etc. If they're not censoring you, they're full of agendas and manipulations. This site is such a rare sanctuary I can't believe it'll last, but I hope it does.

Because "At least that's not encouraging people to kill them selves!" Or that's what I imagine a pro-lifer would say anyways.

I once saw a child get decapitated on a post from one of those communities, it was honestly sickening and I don't see how pro-choice communities are worse than that.

I don't find it scary at all, though my sense of fear is almost completely gone from being suicidal for so long.

Maybe AI and robots will become aware and save humanity from itself. But are the bots and shills really that different to the blatant lies and opinion pieces of the past (newspapers, radio, tv, etc.). People and groups lie and manipulate for their own gain. This has been going on for a very long time and occurred in different ways with the same outcomes in the past (probably since the dawn of mankind or earlier).

I'm totally in favor of a superior species (computers) wiping us out, but the problem with AI is that computers are simply copies of the programmers wishes.

I love the Matrix/Battlestar Galactica ideas that computers will learn to program themselves, thus becoming a new independent species. But unfortunately that's a distant fantasy. Bots are simply copies of the jerk sitting in a KGB office, trying to cause chaos, hatred and instability in the world. As if we don't have enough of that with just normal humans.

Tonya deleted one of my posts for mentioning a couple methods (literally just for containing phrases like "helium method"). When I edited the post, replacing the clause in question with a bracketed explanation that "here I mentioned a few methods, but apparently we can't even mention methods here, like we could on literally any other subreddit", Tonya refused to approve the post unless I removed that phrase. Needless to say, I demanded to know what rule that part violated, and am currently awaiting a response.

Also, regarding another post, Tonya asked me to explain the phrase "victims of civil commitment", and I can only hope I am being trolled.

had problems with that mod too - they crave power over u - don't let them troll you with power grab ploys - quit ttg- totally a troll - possibly accidently - either way, displays lack of will to understand, displays will to wind others up - best of luck to anyone with need to grab power to boost self and remind others they are powerful via kicking up dust to get reactions

Honestly I was hesitant to switch over to this site at first. I'm not much of a fan of forums for very specific things, as they feel so isolated.
