Venting The person who cared about me most doesn't anymore

It hurts more than anything I could ever explain.

I just had major surgery and spent the last four days in the hospital. I'm in pain, I'm sick, I just want to die. But above all, I wish he cared the way he did. I feel so stupid.

i dont know, it just goes so deep. it isn't even necessarily a romantic thing, its a soul connection to someone that i feel like i've lost. perhaps all my eggs in one basket was my mistake, but here i am, suicidal. obviously not solely because of *him* but because my life is just... over. in general. i wish i had a painless way.

honestly? hes my therapist, who others on this forum have pointed out to be a narcissist. we got very entangled, its extremely messy. the situation is so fucked up that i dont even know if it's redeemable.

Well, a soul can establish more than one connection in a lifetime. You could indeed have a connection with him, but probably it should not stop there.

Or do you think your life is at a point of no return? Have you considered getting another therapist?

Either way, a painless way is all I wish for you. Also, another "he" too.

You need to understand people better then. If you knew before hand who he was and still allow yourself to get hurt then idk. Dealing with narcs is like a stick with two ends. Just let them know they pathetic and forget about your pain.

This "entanglement" sounds extremely sus and unprofessional. I hope you find a better therapist that can provide you with better care and treatment. You deserve better.
