I usually can squeeeeze few days where I'm productive for 3 or so hours which is enough for programming, but this week it's only been one day and it gives me a bit of anxiety.

Hello folks. Good morning/afternoon/evening.

After spending two days traveling to and from, and waiting at the psych hospital, i'm definitely feeling quite exhausted.

Anyways, i'm here now with my drink, my cigarettes, and my weed. Another day into oblivion. Hope yall are doing better.

This talk of lunch makes me realize that my lunch of cheese melted on taco shell fried with butter as it was folded into a square made in the morning but ate at noon wasn't the healthiest option lol.

Good thing I"m not concerned about 'healthy food' lol

Yes, it's hard when your mind keeps wandering, or you're feeling anxious, or you're just tired and you don't want to be there. I understand.

Wow! The local media in my area is REALLY trying to inflate the number of people in my area that have that coronavirus! I haven't been paying close attention to it, but I know yesterday I heard one of my local newscasters say that there were 5 people in our area that actually had the virus. They made it sound like these were confirmed cases. Then I read on a website that there are actually only 5 confirmed cases in all of the United States, so these people must've been lying. Now I just got a newsflash there are 16 more people being tested for the virus in my area. But they word it in such a way to make you think the virus has already been confirmed in the 16 people. It's not until you read down into the story that you realize they're only being tested for the virus and nothing has been confirmed yet. I hate it when they do stuff like this because if we ever do have a real epidemic of something, people are not going to believe the media because they've cried "Wolf" so many times now with this stuff. Remember when the bird flu was going to kill all of us?! And then there was one year were there was a swine flu that was going to kill all of us. And then I remember one year they convinced everyone that there was a shortage of the flu vaccine and caused people to rush out to try to get a shot, and that time they did manage to kill people because some people died waiting in line to get a shot because they thought they weren't going to be able to get one and they were elderly or already sick with another illness to compromise their immune systems and waiting in the long lines ended up killing them. And then at the end of that flu season they had to throw out millions of unused shots because they had way more than enough and the media had just lied to everyone in order to cause a panic and raise their ratings numbers.
Why isn't the media ever held accountable for anything that it does? I'm so sick of the media getting away with everything just because they're "the media". They always hide behind their right to freedom of the press. But they shouldn't have the freedom to cause panics that result in people dying.
