I'm quietly contemplating how long hair has to be before you can strangle yourself with it and have it look like an accident.

I mean... Hi everyone :D
:pfff::pfff: I think you'd have to have at least Rapunzel length hair to have it thick enough and long enough that you could wrap it around your neck enough times. Then you could just claim you got tangled up in it accidentally. LOL!

Wow! The local media in my area is REALLY trying to inflate the number of people in my area that have that coronavirus! I haven't been paying close attention to it, but I know yesterday I heard one of my local newscasters say that there were 5 people in our area that actually had the virus. They made it sound like these were confirmed cases. Then I read on a website that there are actually only 5 confirmed cases in all of the United States, so these people must've been lying. Now I just got a newsflash there are 16 more people being tested for the virus in my area. But they word it in such a way to make you think the virus has already been confirmed in the 16 people. It's not until you read down into the story that you realize they're only being tested for the virus and nothing has been confirmed yet. I hate it when they do stuff like this because if we ever do have a real epidemic of something, people are not going to believe the media because they've cried "Wolf" so many times now with this stuff. Remember when the bird flu was going to kill all of us?! And then there was one year were there was a swine flu that was going to kill all of us. And then I remember one year they convinced everyone that there was a shortage of the flu vaccine and caused people to rush out to try to get a shot, and that time they did manage to kill people because some people died waiting in line to get a shot because they thought they weren't going to be able to get one and they were elderly or already sick with another illness to compromise their immune systems and waiting in the long lines ended up killing them. And then at the end of that flu season they had to throw out millions of unused shots because they had way more than enough and the media had just lied to everyone in order to cause a panic and raise their ratings numbers.
Why isn't the media ever held accountable for anything that it does? I'm so sick of the media getting away with everything just because they're "the media". They always hide behind their right to freedom of the press. But they shouldn't have the freedom to cause panics that result in people dying.
Yeah, the person in my area (ok in my hospital, as in where my doctors go lol) is in quarantine! Whatever, Have it, doesn't, really doesn't bug me. I think it's kind of neat that for once there's a possibility of a deadly disease like 'right next to me!' given the size of the planet! I mean that's cool. Like I can walk into the place and be like 'I'm within 500ft of a possible deadly virus.....

That's just so cool!

Or I'm twisted.... I'd say or I'm suicidal.. but that's just a given. lol.

Seriously though, who knows. They could just have a bad cold or have been bitten by a dog that gave him rabies as far as anyone knows as of now.

I just tried strangling myself with my hair for funsies. I think if I could get it to wrap a full three times it would be viable.

Here. I feel like a million dollars today! Well, rather like one hundred dollars. But that's more than zero.
Glad you are having a good day! That makes me happy. How was your martial arts class?

I may have grabbed the hair on the right side, and pulled to the left just to see... it's no where near long enough lol

I put away my protein bars and went to the basement and dumped the boxes. Also watered my plant (not on the list.)

Maybe we should have a race of who gets thin faster

Between the cigarettes/drinking and the self-imposed fasting, i think i'm gonna have you both beat

That sounds like it could be painful. Glad you already have plans to CTB, hopefully this doesn't interfere with it at all.

Dammit y'all! When my door swung closed the other day and locked me out of my bedroom and I had to break back in with a screwdriver and a hammer, I seriously injured myself. I'm not even sure how I did it because I purposely didn't do what they do on TV and get a running start and slam myself into the door. I knew that would result in me getting injured. All I did was press myself against the door so that I could get some leverage to open it, but I still somehow managed to pull a muscle on my right side. I looked it up online and here's what it says:

Costochondritis is inflammation of the cartilage joining the ribs to the breastbone. Irritation of this nature may produce pain under the right breast. Again, this pain may be mistaken for the onset of a heart attack.

Contributing factors to this condition may be an upper respiratory infection, muscle strain, chest injury, or fibromyalgia.

Oh, and look! It can be caused by fibromyalgia, one of the things the doctors told me I didn't have. However, in this case it's more likely to be a muscle strain. I think I just turned myself the wrong way and pulled a muscle - because I'm not apparently in enough pain already. LOL!

It's just annoying because it's hard to do normal things now like lying in bed, raising my arm up over my head, and laughing. I saw something funny earlier today and I couldn't stop laughing, but I was also in severe pain the entire time, which just made me laugh even more! It was a vicious circle of laughter and pain! :pfff:

See, when I sneeze... something in my sinuses seems to "burst"... and this time it did and I keep on blowing blood out of my nose... it's leaking blood down my throat... it's a bit annoying. It's probably nothing, even though it's getting progressively worse. eh.. 6 days til the ENT.

granted given blood loss needed, and capacity of stomach, it couldn't easily kill me so there's that... well.... easily...but it'd still be annoying.

More annoying, as you can't put pressure on it, and it feels like it's inside your skull. Fortunetely it's slowed/stopped.... guess I have good clotting. even though my nose is still burning. well better than it draining blood I guess.
