Morning everybody

After sitting on the toilet all last night (too much info I know), at least the stomach cramps that felt like Kidney Stone or my appendix burst, by stomach is at a liveable amount of pain.

I have to get something ready for my real job, and will try to get some sleep.

List is on hold for now. Took my meds and put the cash dishes in to soak.

Sounds awful, I know that feeling, hope its okay. Maybe bowel cramps?
Tested my blood glucose and its normal. So why do I have a long list of diabetes symptoms? Doctor just dismisses me. At breaking point.

I took a laxative. No longer constipated Enough said lol.

You can still be Diabetic, have symptoms, and your blood is normal at this particular second. ;)

This morning I got up soaked from my usual night sweats so...
I got a good soak in, brushed my teeth, stripped my sheets/blankets, started some laundry.
Today I will hopefully:
complete said laundry
really would like to make some banana bread because I have several bananas going bad
get a much longer, hair washing shower for classes tonight
actually go to class and not cancel

Much of the in between will simply be convincing myself I've got this and not going into a panic

That's what I keep telling them, but they don't listen I've also had lab tests: fasting, HBA1C and random draws, all normal.
But: the fasting test won't show your response to a carbohydrate load because its, well, fasting.
The HBA1C is a 3 month average, which by its very nature is going to even out any highs and lows of a food reaction.
These tests will only pick up advanced diabetes with chronically raised blood glucose, which I clearly don't yet have.
I think I need a glucose tolerance test to pick up my insulin reaction to a carb load.
But they won't listen.
So here I am.

See an endocrinologist
I did. I saw two.
The first said my theory was right and wanted me to have the GTT. But when I tried to get my care moved to a more local hospital (the specialist was too far away for me to get to anymore), the local endo took over and said this was nonsense. He wanted me to have an 8 hour fluid deprivation test to check for diabetes insipidus instead.
DI is NOT diabetes, its a misnomer. Its when your pituitary gland doesn't produce enough anti-diuretic hormone so your kidneys go into overdrive. or when your kidneys can't use ADH correctly and the same happens. I was dubious, because its a rare condition and doesn't account for my neuropathy or other symptoms. Are they just coincidences?
I couldn't do the deprivation test at the time because I actually wasn't peeing at all during the day no matter how much I drank, just at night. Which makes no sense. The test being in the day would have given a dodgy result and they couldn't do it at night, obviously. And now, if I were to take the test, I'd have to forgo my Movicol (x4 per day in water currently) or my bowel will impact/obstruct, as it has last year when I went without.
They are unwilling to work around my co-morbidites, they just say 'take it or leave it, I've got other patients to see.' I'm trying to find a way out of this morass, but the doctors are really not copacetic at all, they blame all of it on mental health and dismiss me.

Sorry! That was a bit of a rant! Feeling backed into a corner and angry.

Yeah I thought of that and got them to check, was fine every time. The only clinical results were a lack of vit D, which is hardly surprising and I'm on the supplement and one raised pancreatic amylase reading. That set off alarm bells for me, but it was back to normal on the next test and was dismissed.
I suspect I may have chronically raised insulin levels as a precursor to diabetes, with my pancreas over-compensating, but they don't test for that. I was hoping for a specialist to actually answer some of these questions, but he just scoffed.

At work watching this cute older guy try to figure out a printer issue that took 7 hours yesterday to fix with no success.

Short version:
everything printed fine, except checks that were sent as 8.5 inches by 7inches. The printer ALWAYS printed them at 7.5x7.5 no matter what basically.

Browsing old threads out of boredom I encountered this:

'I definitely wouldn't recommend using soup to clean your penis.'

@L0ne1ygh0st how many meds have you been on, if you don't mind me asking?
Ive been on 7 different medications over the past 3 years I think. Fluoxetine, Sertraline, Miratazpine, Trazadone, Citalopram, Quetiapine and Aripiprazole. None of them have worked for me so far but the doctor seems hopeful for the new ones.

Good morning everyone. I woke up an hour early today for some reason and couldn't quite get back to sleep so I said screw it and got up. I think I skipped a meal yesterday because I'm dying over here. Gonna eat breakfast and later I need to visit some campus to finish applying though knowing most schools it's going to be a big hassle.
