Tilting your head up helps, and if your neck starts getting sore take a break, usually the first few tries are the easiest for me
Do you get dizzy or faint out? I tried everything and i even chock myself very hard that i cant even swallow. Dont know that iam doing wrong. With the cornbags and the ratchet does it work better?
Maybe iam not hitting the spot but i feel the pulse

You should start seeing black and going numb/tingly/wobbly in about 10 seconds if you're standing up. If you can't breathe, you're doing it wrong. Only your finger and thumb should be touching your neck, and they shouldn't be pressing on your windpipe.

Yes, but push more backwards than inwards, otherwise you'll just crush your windpipe.

I think the pressure pads are perhaps too wide and too hard.

If it doesn't work then better leave it.

The first time I tried to ctb by this method I fucked up the setup and only ended frustrated and with aching neck, so now I tried one more time to find my sweet spot and my results from yesterdays night I got are: after I pressed these spots really hard with my hands I suddenly became very very relaxed, like all this tension in my body suddenly dissapeared and for once my mind became silent, I didn't black out, but I felt hmm... I don't how to describe it... I felt funny in a positive way! It felt as if I was featherlight! Ooh and my mind was so pleasantly fuzzy and silent!

So... Does it mean that I found my sweet spot?

I would say only you can determine if you found your sweet spot by trying to make yourself pass out.
Hold the position with your hands again for longer and see if you pass out.
I would do it lying down on your bed so if you do pass out there`s no worry of falling and hitting your head.
Just using your hands also guarantees that if it is your sweet spot and you pass out, it`s just temporary until you do decide to CTB.

Ok, gotta try it again before going to sleep... Unfortunatly I will be stuck with my younger sibling for 2 weeks (parents are going on vacations), so I can only try to ctb at night when they are asleep or in my university's bathroom... Uhh... I kinda lack the alone time -_-"

Is there a proper guide with some pictures and measurements for this method? 40 pages of posts is too much right now but it sounds interesting.

Ok, I have located my sweet spot, but I lack the strength in my arms to press it till i black out... Anyway I'm planning to do it tonight, but since I lack the tape I'm going to use long scarf, maybe I add one-piece sport bra on top of it, there will be 2 unused tampons for more direct pressure on sweet spot. At the end I'm gonna use wooden spoon to increase the pressure of the bloodchokehold... Thats if I wont blackout immadietly.

If I do a "practice" run with this method, won't I end up with broken blood vessels in my eyes/face? How am I supposed to explain that away?

I tried this method again today with a ratchet strap and cornhole bags. I just can't seem to get the sweet spot although it felt closer today. My vision blurred and my hearing kind of echoed but I didn't manage to pass out. Felt very light headed for a few hours after. I don't know if I have any more attempts left in me or if I should move on to an "easier" more guaranteed method

Should I spend the money on cornhole bags? Are they really worth it? The suggested item is $20, I don't have much $$$.

I've tried taping SO many things onto the ratchet strap and the added extra weight always causes things to get misaligned, causing the ratchet to not tighten properly.

I'm having a problem; finding the left carotid? No problem. The right one is a goddamn mystery! I fondled my whole neck, but can't find it!

What about this one? Like earplug case and glue them to the rope/strap or whatever

I think people fail because theres not enough pressure? or miss the right spot

Can i use a belt or something else instead of the ratchet or duct tape?
I tried that, but it didn't work well because it is difficult to tighten it gradually. Maybe you have more luck than I did.

Hey everyone,

Been talking to a lot of people in the chat and trying to explain this method, and one user wanted me to make a post about it, so here goes everything.

We're going after a classic idea of using a blood choke, except, it will be against ourselves. In the privacy of our own homes. In a fully relaxed state.

This method is fully capable and will kill you very fast. I know this because it's what we were taught in the Marine Corps.

First, you're going to want some Gorilla tape OR a tree ratchet.

Second, get two Sackhole/Cornhole bags.

Now, depending on what you're using, you'll want to lie on the ground and put the bags on these two exact areas on your neck (In blue).

face.jpg

The reason we're lying on the ground is that we want to be able not to have to fuss over putting the bags on us and making sure they don't fall out of place before we use the ratchet or the tape. You're putting the bags on these two areas to go after the internal carotid arteries.

Start cinching the ratchet closed or wrap the tape around your neck once. Is everything feeling good? I'm glad. If not, then uncinch it a little and place the bags. You want to make sure that you're not compressing the windpipe as that could cause you to freak out a little.

We want this to be painless and fast.

After you're comfortable, sit down if you want to or stand up. Do whatever you want honestly. Start wrapping the tape around your neck more and a little tighter or start closing the ratchet more.

In about 5-20 seconds you will pass out. After that, it's pretty much game over unless you somehow hit the ratchet release. That's why I said we could also use tape as well. With the gorilla tape, it will make sure that you don't inadvertently try to tear the tap off... because it will be strong as hell around your neck.

After you pass out, it will only take a few minutes, and you will be brain dead from the complete lack of blood flow to your brain.

I think I've explained this pretty well and I hope you guys understand the method. If not, please don't hesitate and I'm sure that I can help you out or someone else in the community can help you out.
someone has tried this and failed?

Bored as hell and it's been awhile since I posted here, so I'm popping in to say this is my new method of choice since I've had more success with this than partial suspension. I've experimented with a few different tools, none of which are what OP used.

My favorite is a canvas belt with D-rings. Instead of bean bags, I use rolled up wash cloths or hand towels with rubber bands/hair bands wrapped around to keep them rolled up. The towels are nice because once rolled up, they're tube shaped so placing them on either side of my neck (vertically, right in front of the big muscles you feel on the sides of your neck) applies nice even pressure that doesn't require as much fussing as anything filled with beans. In fact, I'd argue that rolled up towels can even be used with a rope, provided you have a rope long enough to wrap around your neck a few times. Just a note: wrapping the rope around multiple times is done to distribute the pressure, not to increase the pressure. You should wrap it in a different spot each time, if that makes sense.

Unlike with partial suspension, I have actually managed to pass out in 10 seconds doing this. Only reason I didn't ctb is because I passed out before actually securing the belt, so it loosened up. I was practicing anyway. It didn't require as much pressure as I thought. It doesn't hurt. I don't get the feeling that my head is going to explode. However, I spent a long time figuring out how to choke myself with my hands before I managed to get this to work. I prowled BDSM forums for advice on choking, which really helped. They have great advice for how to avoid air chokes (which are super uncomfortable and trigger instincts that are very hard to resist, in my experience) and you can kind of... Reverse engineer their advice for "what not to do" if you catch my drift.

Other things that work instead of belts:
A thin scarf made of something like chiffon. I think a thick scarf would be too hard to tighten and secure. Don't roll it up like a rope, lay it flat and wrap it around like a bandage. I found that wrapping it around a few times before tying it prevents slipping.

A jump rope. This kind of rope is braided and very smooth, similar to bondage rope, so it's not itchy. Super easy to find. Only problem is these ropes can be on the thin side, so they're less ideal for this specific method.

If you have gauze wrap (the less stretchy kind for splints), that can work. Not sure how you'd secure it, honestly. I lost the clip for mine and I'm certainly not about to try using safety pins.

Other things that work instead of towels:
Pantyhose, stockings, tights, socks, pretty much any long thing that can be rolled up into a tube shape. You could cut off the sleeves of a shirt too. I don't recommend anything hard because it'll hurt, first of all, but if you use something that can't "squish" it'll be harder to assure it's applying pressure right where it needs to.

I took the wooden handles off my jump rope to experiment with this. Wrapping some cloth around the handles worked, so if you're not getting enough pressure, then perhaps you could wrap up something hard as long as it's roughly tube shaped. I still feel like this doesn't work very well, and it's hard to describe why.

My only problem is, that I restrict my air tube when tightening the belt despite having thick towels (rolled up) on the side of my neck. Should i just try to make them harder, so that they restrict blood flow quicker? How long do should i try to make this work before giving up? i tried for an hour without luck, but this method just sounds too good to give up on it.

How thick are the towels? I'd try to make the towels harder and the belt looser, especially if you've been putting enough pressure on your trachea to restrict air flow. You shouldn't have so much pressure on the front of your neck.

Have you been able to choke yourself with your hands to the point of going limp? I'd start with that. Try to find your sweet spot for about 30 seconds at a time before taking a break. Stand up and move around a little, otherwise you'll probably get a headache. I think if nothing happens within 30 seconds, you should try a different spot or apply pressure differently.

I'm having a hard time describing how I choke myself so I might post pictures or video of how I do it.

Don't underestimate the psychological element. Ratcheting the strap requires an active will to do violence against yourself, in contrast to a more passive action such as swallowing pills. It could be hard.
i also think the same.

its not that easy to do the "final act" - think its like jumping.

but still a reliable alternative - like train, hanging, jumping, shooting.

if you can post a picture or a video, well that would be golden. i tried it but i just get this strong pressure in my head until some cells or veins pop and i get red points all over my face and eyes. i'm very thin/lean. i will also go trough some bdsm forums for the chocking advice. thanks!
