According to local media, 19-year-old Maxim Popov, a mechanic for car repair by education, on the day of the explosion in the house published on his page on the social network VKontakte the date of his birth and, apparently, of the alleged death. A criminal case was initiated against the failed suicide. He could face life imprisonment.

This would be the worse case scenario when trying to CTB. This is why I would never try jumping from an overpass onto traffic or trying the detergent method. The only thing worse than not dying would be not dying and causing the death of others and ending up in prison for the rest of your life living with the guilt. I agree, that is a far worse fate, especially taking out others who are innocent and not responsible for one's woes and ills, then also failing one's own attempt in the process. This is why I would steer away from methods that involve others, especially in ways that are likely to result in them getting physical harm.
