I see my niece about once a week, on sunday. Well my mom came into my office and told me that she would be here between 8 and 9. I know I heard her say tomorrow, so I get up early and go into the living room and wait. She never comes. At 10 my mom gets up and says "no, we always get her on sunday." That child is the only family I can say "I love you" too. She is the only family I care for, she is the light of my life and my mom ruined my day for it.
Thinking rationally it could've been a hearing mistake or she misspoke, but it wouldn't be the first time she has done something like this.
I just really needed to get this out and I can't talk to my family anymore. Sorry if I just sound like a spoiled kid, but this really made me angry.
