I was googling a bit earlier, and I came across this bush plant that many Namibian citizens and locals to the plant swear it to be very toxic and poisonos, saying that even touching it, or having it's milky-like stem fluid enter a wound or touch your skin is capable of killing you by putting you to sleep. They say it's painless and you can just fall asleep and never wake up again.

I think that sounds like a great way to go. Like SN but without the 40 minute wait and the super salty taste. Has anyone heard or researched this further? I am only seeing and reading anecdotes so far.

Most toxic plants could definitely kill you, but most are also definitely NOT painless and will end up giving you the misery of a lifetime. So what does anyone else think?

All the deaths reported appear anecdotal, no major study done. At a glance I don't see seeds or cuttings available and even if they were cultivation is another issue. I assume you'd need the fresh plant to extract the poison latex though I did read one thing that said 11 miners died using the bush as firewood to cook food over. Maybe good in theory but if you're not in Africa I'd say difficult to source.
