Apparently this is "discreet" packaging. I wonder what could be in that box…

Anyone have any ideas for how I could explain to my roommates why I got an argon regulator delivered to me?? My response was it's a long story but the short answer is that it was an accident (and she was running out the door so I said I'll explain later…) My current plan is just to avoid her for a few day and hopefully she'll forget about it?? The only thing I can think of is that a guy I was talking romantically to recently (about 3 weeks ago) is/was into welding so maybe I could tie into that somehow I literally have no clue.

I mean good news is that this confirms she hasn't found any of my stuff in my room?

I'm sorry but I had to laugh! Yeah, hard to tell what that is!! Regulators are used for home brewing so maybe you can say its a gift to the guy for that.

you could say the guy needed it but he had shipping problems so he sent it to you and you will give it to him. Or you were looking at welding equipment because of him and accidentally bought it. Just tell her you will return it when you have time and it was an accident cause why would anyone (who doesnt know) buy a gas regulator.

Haha yep kind of predicted this might happen but oh well I'm sure I can get out of it. Like it's weird and yes they can definitely tell that I've been depressed (and hiding it worse) but I don't think they would be able to come up with the conclusion that I was using it to ctb??

Ouu that's a good idea though I could say I got it for him as a favour because I have an amazon prime account and he needed it quickly? And I could say I was high out my mind on edibles the other day and I was trying to buy smt else on amazon but didn't see that it was still in my shopping cart from earlier? does that sound believable to you

Sounds believable to me! Until I got into CTB a few years ago I had no idea about exit bag/nitrogen/regulators so I'd be clueless

Is the gas and exit bag definitely method definitely viable? You can just blag it, say you were planning a party with helium balloons and got the wrong gas by accident

Just say that a friend/family member is in the middle of looking for new lodgings, is into home brew and asked if the regulator could be delivered to you. You don't even need to unwrap it or hide it. After all, you're just hanging onto it until they're sorted with a place to stay and brewing again.
