The "Six Triangles" test is far better.

It's definitely one of the better tests out there, but not that different from the Political Compass. For the better or the worse, the questions are quite similar.
Nevertheless, it is at least far more detailed (its system/the results it provides, I mean).

It's remarkable how many of us end up in the left-libertarian square. I wonder why that is.
Not sure if joking :smiling: we want that right to choose our own death and F any authority who tries to control that!

On the other hand bet left = more relative concern for society than yourself compared to right. Which contradicts our suicidal libertarianism demands but I'd intuitively expect based on the overwhelming percentage of compassionate people posting to SS.

The political compass responses here look exactly how I would expect them to. I think green square people must be increasingly likely to want to CTB in these times because its very clear that their worldview is not being embraced by the public. I'm not saying their ideas are wrong in fact I agree with many of them but look at our world today, the world we live in today is definitely an odd mix between the top left bracket and the bottom right bracket. The social conservatism has faded but we are living in a dystopia that is sort of very corporate but at the same time very PC/nanny state and authoritarian. I would say of all the brackets least relevant to where the world is today the top right is gone. The 2000s was the neoconservative decade and thats all been thrown out now.

That was kinda fun... I am content with these results. Obviously things are more complicated in the real world where people can't be pinned down to a single point on a chart, and I might favor certain policies for pragmatic reasons even if they don't match my ideology. Also some of the questions are a bit vague and open to interpretation.

Not too sure this is a very good test, my feeling is virtually everyone will be in the same ballpark as far as the end result, but oh well.

I've noticed that quite a few people around here are interested in politics. If you are, you might want to take the test called The political compass. It's not a perfect test, but it's the best I've found so far. It shows you where you stand politically by positioning you on two axes, namely a social axis (authoritarian-libertarian) and an economic axis (left-right). This is my result:

Definitely needs some reworking, that test. I responded yes to eugenics for fucks sake! You need to be some religious nut or a corporation fanboy to land anywhere outside the green square.
