My idea is to take SN in a public place because i cant stand the idea to die alone…even considering it can fail….i really dont know what to do

There was a user here who did it in public brosd daylight in the middle of a town. Nobody noticed until they were dead. They ended up in the news and everything. It's crazy. The mom ended up burying someone else's body thinking it was her daughter's.

I guess that after all it's up to you, but I wouldn't want to risk the chance of a ctb attempt being interrupted and failing.

Please do not do this. IF someone were to witness your passing, it could be very traumatic for them, and children do not need to see anything like that. I understand the fear of not wanting to die alone, but it will only be temporary, and then you will have peace.

Yeah.. I wouldn't. It's not that quick, and if someone were to notice you were in distress, the chance of being taken and hospitalised is very high. Even if no one did notice until you were dead, you have no idea who is going to see your body and how that would impact them. They haven't consented to being involved in your suicide, after all.

You would have to choose your place wisely. Make it look like you're sleeping
If you have a car, drive to a carpark. You can see people around so you're not alone and if you suddenly change your mind someone is there to help and call 999 for you, but if you're in your car with headphones on and sunglasses you'd go unnoticed for HOURS

everybody are involved anyway with my death....I have been left alone for so many people, so I don't care...besides, this is the real life

There was a news article recently about a guy who drank a "water bottle" inside a courtroom right after the judge read his guilty verdict. The bottle had SN mixed in it and he died. Also if he waited 30 more seconds it would have been taken away from him since the bailiffs were coming.
Does that count as a public place?

I'm not really sure what the issue with dying alone is - so I can't really empathise there - but I really don't think it's worth the risk to do it where people can 'help' you if something goes wrong.
Yeah same, the problem in my life was that there was TOO MANY people not too few

That was cyanide. Horrible way to go, but on the upside it takes about three minutes. No time for interference. If you're in a city, then any of the parks downtown should work. Already full of people fucked up in various ways, sleeping it off. You'd most likely look like one more for at least half a day.

No it was confirmed to be SN.
I think a public bathroom would be better, seeing as there's likely going to be vomit and poop involved.

seconding this, getting random people involved in witnessing your death is gross and dumb.
i don't care if you feel everyone has lead to your decision to CTB, i'm in a completely different country, have never met you, and would be at least a little traumatised randomly seeing your death/corpse. similarly, a 5 year old kid is not the reason you're gonna CTB, and that kid doesn't need to be the one to realise you're dead.
you're not getting back at the world, you're contributing to someone else's suicide note. "it all started at the age of 12, when someone killed themselves in front of me..."

I wouldn't do it in public but I'm planning on ordering SN next week when I get paid, so will probably attempt in the next few weeks. I live 2 hours from the closest hospital. I'm thinking of taking it and once I start feeling symptoms calling an ambulance. They wouldn't be able to get me to hospital in time if I do it right but it would bring me a lot of comfort not dying alone.

Consciousness may go fast, but dying still takes a while. You might end up in a worse situation than you already were. Please reconsider your plans.
I gave this a thought but it wouldn't be a comfortable situation I think I'll be too paranoid of someone finding me to early and possibly be "saved" I think my plan is.
I will end up getting a hotel room and taking hopefully SN as it's peaceful and won't hurt a lot the pain is all I'm worried about I would rather ctb in a painless way away from the public in a room maybe .
I respect your decision if it takes 2 hours to reach the emergency hospital in your town and you don't want to ctb alone you by the time ems drops you off you could succeed that way

Same. How does it alleviate dying alone if strangers can see you but won't give a fuck about you until they see you in distress? This reads basically as "I want to kill myself in a way that offers me the most chance of being noticed, getting attention and being saved". Let's look at it logically: if the op wanted to do it in public but WITHOUT the chance of being saved, op would have to resort to jumping or the train method or some other high-impact way.
So many people here who choose SN put things in place to make sure they are not discovered for hours after taking it. Taking it while around people says to me that you are not ready to CTB and should just go get counselling or something. Maybe I am lacking empathy and understanding cuz I don't care about dying alone personally. I mean, if you are the only one dying then you are dying alone anyway. I don't get how strangers around you will alleviate that. It seems like op wants to make a statement to the world with their CTB. "Life was too tough for me" or "Someone notice me" or "Someone help me".
What op could do is join some videochats, maybe with a person from here or with someone who doesn't know their whereabouts (to avoid being rescued) and do it like that. If op's response is: "No, I want someone physically with me when I take SN", then I feel like op should just abort the whole thing.
I don't mean to sound callous or harsh. This is why I haven't CTB yet - cuz I don't want to do any half-arsed, pussyfooting. When I do it, I want it to be definitive with no chance of rescue.
