Setting fire to myself

I have been fantasizing of a painful way to die, just tomshow my pain to the World. Anyone else ever thought about just setting oneself on fire somewhere public?

I wonder how I woukd make sure it works, even when people try to intervene. like I could take SN before and then do it, but I'm worried there wouldn't be enough time.
Any Ideas on how to do it but still assuring i ctb 100% and not end up in prison or psych ward?

This is very terrible. Almost everyone who does it, immediately regrets it. The pain is so extreme, it's something no one should ever go through. Please get it out of your head.

I spent most of my life,trying to have an impact and make things better. Why not spend my death that way too? Public self-death seems to be quite political, and maybe me being non-binary could spark some debate, about whether the world treats us right.

if you do it in public, there is very much no guarantee that you won't survive. people will act and be put in danger. if you don't do it in public, there's still no guarantee you don't just get horribly maimed without dying, plus it defeats the point. besides that, I don't think it would elicit much more empathy than any other method. suicide in any form is already a Big Thing, it doesn't have to be made flashier. there is frankly no scenario where it's worth considering.

I suppose you would have to do a lot of research into the correct fluids to douse yourself in and what produces the hottest fire, as well as finding a way to make it so it's less likely to put it out, if you're gonna make a political statement I assume it wouldn't matter to wait a while and study up on chemistry to ensure it goes however you want

It's easier to think about it than actually handle it. Surviving it is also a possibility, but you'd be dying of infections which are also painful. It's just torture. Why would you ever want to do that to yourself. You already mentioned SN. That in itself is a 100x less painless.

Also, public self-immolation for a political message is useless nowadays. The media is controlled by fascists. Everything that they don't like gets shadow-banned and then it dies in a month. You may remember a U.S serviceman who did the same thing for a political message. As far as I know nothing came out of it except more awareness towards the genocide.

this is another example of people have no idea how bad pain is.

remember when you burned your hand on a hot stove ?

the pain was unbearable but your hand was only in contact with the hot stove for 1/4 of a second. because you pulled away instantly.

if some gang forced you to keep your hand against the hot stove the pain would build and would be orders of magnitude worse than when you pulled back

a million times worse is having the whole bare skin of body against a giant red hot searing stove and not being able o move away from the searing hot metal and the constant unbearable pain. this pain is unimaginable. you think you can imagine it but the it's a trillion times worse than the worst thing you can imagine.

i even asked an ai to rank the pains giving the brazen bull torture a rating of 1 trillion . the higher the worse the pain is.

it gave kidney stones which is extreme pain somewhere in the 1000s compared to the brazen bull of a trilion.

similar pain of romantic breakup heartbreak in the 1000s . so it agreed with me pain is a billion times worse than one can imagine.

the brain is an extreme torture chamber. what i am is a brain that can suffer unending constant unbearable pain.

one thing shows people have no idea is the many humans that have set themselves on fire even when a painless high velocity rifle or gun is available.

my advice try to get Nembutal Pentobarbital. i prefer N over self burning myself alive. Nembutal is unparralled because it is absolutely painless , 3-5 minutes and asleep unconscoius. Pentobarbital in medium doses is used as an anesthethic for animals.

people have no idea how bad pain is because like suicide , Death , and the very many horrible things that can happen , all these imo are censored or stigmatized topics , kept out of peoples minds.

I have been tortured before, in the psych ward, and honestly I don't care about my self enduring that much pain, ive been psychotic before and that was probably the longest pain eher, when it felt like time had stopped. I know as soon as I am alight i would probably try to put it out myself, so it has to be one and done. Thats why I would need to ingest something, that makes sure I die anyways, and then i have like 10-20 minutes to do the ignition.

If I remember correctly there is this liquid thats illegal to sell nearly everywhere, except some south american countries, and its pretty nice to ingest and die. Also I think it'd be nice to maybe be on dmt or fentanyl or something at the same time

My concern with self immolation as a political statement is that it has gotten to the point where it's no longer especially shocking. For example, within the past few years in the U.S. there have been cases such as an activist setting himself on fire to protest climate change and multiple people doing it to protest the Gaza genocide. There is so much awful stuff going on in the world that I'm not confident politically motivated suicide would even make national news in a lot of countries, even with this incredibly painful method.

Not public cause I hate public places. I sometimes imagined setting myself on fire when there's no one around, Home alone. I watched a crime show where this little girl set herself on fire for money, no support, extremely hard life. and I just cried so much I still sometimes think about that girl tho it's fictional but still.

with all due respect, this sounds like a horrible idea
the absolute unparalleled torture you would experience would only be rivaled by an eternal stay in hell
i understand the idealization of a painful suicide, so that everybody, passerbys included, know that you were writhing in this kind of misery for years. But this is FAR too extreme, if you really wanted to do something of the sort, stay away from fire, especially because if it fails, you will be permanently disfigured

I'm pretty sure that many witnesses wouldn't interpret your "message" in the way you like. Instead, they could think like "yet another crazy person did something very stupid". Recently I saw a video of a guy setting himself on fire, and, TBH, my only thoughts about it were "it seems, he didn't like the perceptions" and "that wasn't smart".

Don't do this just to show your pain to the world. Believe me: no one cares. And it isn't exactly anyone's fault that they don't truly care. Living is hard for everyone. Most people just survive because they have no other choice. After all, what drives people? Meaning—whether created or copied from others. There is no real happiness in living in fear. Reading it gave me chills.. Just imagining their pain and trauma is making me uncomfortable. Wht they would have gone through. By God.

Being a fellow community member of SaSu, I will always ask you not to go that path. There are other ways to attain peace but please not this. All methods can fail and if you get rescued in the middle of the method, it'll be agonising.
Take a pick that helps you attain peace peacefully.
