I want to thank everyone who gave me support, advice, guidance, and kindness in response to my posts here. I think I need to be in spaces that are dedicated to recovery. I don't disagree with the premise of this forum -- informed, consenting adults should be able to structure their lives however they want, including ending it -- but my mind does not feel sound enough right now for me to make informed decisions about my own actions with regard to suicide right now. Suicide is not something I want to pursue and so being here feels unsafe for me given my mental state. Thank you all again.
