It may be different when there is others involved, like if you ask someone to kill you.

I don't think so but the person who attempts but fails to kill you will be done for attempted murder and assault occasioning in grevious bodily harm.

If you offer someone money, hell i think even asking someone to do it without offering payment would constitute some form of breaking the law. Asking someone to commit an act such as murder has to have a penalty.

I would argue that you are asking someone to assist your suicide there is no criminal liability. Since suicide is not illegal in by itself from the perspective of the suicidal, conspiring to commit suicide cannot not a crime as the underlying act is not illegal. The case is of course different from the perspective of the killer as any form of aiding and abetting a suicide is illegal.

I'm too scared of the possibility of my partner betraying me and contacting my relatives. I think someone on the shoutbox from my country already tried to find out personal details about me. I wouldn't run run that risk.

You could argue that. But im sure the law would fight you on it. Not sure about UK. But aiding in someones suicide is a chargeable offense in Australia.

Like the case in the states of the girlfriend who 'egged on' her boyfriend to kill himself... she got done im pretty sure.

The gf getting done is different from the bf getting done if he survived which is what we are discussing here. She got done for aiding and abetting a suicide which is a crime.

its illegal in UK. People can go to prison for being part of a suicide pact and if they didn't go through and the other person did

in the UK it is illegal and seen as assisting even if someone mentions anything positive in response to knowledge of someone suiciding. Hard to prove though

We are talking about the person who did go through with it not the one who backed out. In the event that the person who went through with it survived, what crime has he committed?

It's probably good to have a reliable (!) partner during CTB-preparation, but for me the act itself is too personal to share it with somebody, as it was already said by other users. Besides, it's too dangerous due to the possible problems with police, if any of the partners will change his mind and the other one will CTB. I prefer not to trust anyone.

Hiring and contract killing. I dont think the target matters. Paying or asking someone to kill someone is a crime. Whether they go through with it or not,

My reason for wanting a partner is because I've been alone my whole life. It sounds lame but I just want to hold someones hand at least once in my last moments.

CTB alone or with someone else is fine by me. I would like a partner though. It would be nice to have someone with me in my final moments that understands how I feel and also won't stop me. But I am very conscious about the fact one of us could survive and get into deep legal crap

This's a dangerous mindset,be careful. Those that look innocent and naive may turn into a dangerous predator. Most people on the forum including me have been deceived by such a person. He's confirmed by the mod as a predator.
Just a warning to all those that want to have a partner and are desperate,be careful, cautious,be really really careful.
check this thread of my disastrous experience.

Well it would have been disastrous if you actually went, be thankful that the Mods and user identified TheLastTrip as a predator

You were very lucky and made the right decision but why was your thread https://sanctioned-suicide.net/thre...t-to-bolivia-to-buy-n-the-shit-got-real.7973/ deleted?

Thanks, I would have thought the fact that he is a scammer should be highlighted to protect the users and not swept under the rugs as if nothing has happened. How odd.

The partner thing is risky.

Things like them backing out or they are a serial killer. But if you find one you can trust then it makes your ctb more comforting.
