Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

I'm preparing myself for the end and know that I want to say goodbye to at least two people who matter a lot to me, one being family the other being someone else I love. I've heard people say that writing a note is a bad idea because it will traumatize the recipients much more than if there was no letter and that they will probably keep it and re-read it over and over, and that it'll crush them more. I of course don't want that, but - especially considering the other person is someone I know long distance - I don't want them to think that I just ghosted them or anything. I don't want him to think that I got bored or hated him.

I just wanted to let these people know I love them and to let them know not to blame themself because there isn't anything they could've done. Basically I want them to just get over me, which I hope isn't too hard, I don't expect it to be.

Is there any advice you guys have on writing a note or if I should write them in the first place?

I thought about this too. I feel like leaving something that tries to explain why I had ctb might lessen the impact and help them moved on. I even recorded a small video once that I would just leave open on my PC before I ctb so people will see it.

Honestly I think the best way to lessen the impact of ctb is social isolation. I've been systematically destroying my own personal relationships by cutting off people. That way I'd be nothing more than a passing memory for them.

I've thought about cutting people off but feel like I need them in my life until I can finally do it just to keep me going till everything is in place, but even so the people who are important to me I doubt that I am important to them, so I don't think it will be that bad anyway. A video would be good if I wasn't so self conscious lol, good idea though!
