what would you write on your suicide note and is it helpful?
are we selfish for choosing suicide ?

all I am thinking right now is was it all worth it ? dying is so scary and I am conflicted between there is hope (10%) and there is not hope for you on this planet (90%). and I can't even think of what to tell my mum and best friend , I hope they just never blame theirselves for it!

As you're likely venting rather than really exploring a suicide note why not explore that 10% of hope. What are these hopes? What do they consist of?

Hopes of leaving egypt, finding myself a good man, and just become a good doctor, they all sound good in theory not practical tho. Idk if i am venting or not, i just got my SN rn (first wasnt pure but this is) and i am just maybe confused on what to do

10% is a lot of hope, and if you are confused it doesn't sound like the right time maybe. Nothing you mentioned is impossible. But most of all, you have hope. Nothing will happen to the SN if you store it safely and properly.

As for notes, each case is different, but from what's been suggested here, at least let the ones who matter know you love them, and it wasn't their fault. Imo we are not selfish, but we also need to be sure.

I'd write that I wish to permanently cease existing to find peace from the terrible, dreadful and torturous abomination of existence that just causes harm and suffering, all I want is to never exist again, in this existence I just always saw as the most terrible mistake non-existence is just the only peace for me.

Non-existence is just all I se as positive, for me every second is torture to exist and I'd just never wish for the pain, suffering and cruelty of existing, for me ceasing to exist would be the positive solution to find peace from this torturous existence where there is no limit as to how much one can suffer. This existence never should had been imposed, the selfish ones are those who cause all this suffering by so tragically imposing this existence and do all they can to make it so others suffer for as much and as long as possible, anti-suicide is such horrific extreme cruelty, all that anti-suicide does is just cause way more harm and torture, forcing people to suffer in this existence is a terrible crime to me.

I'm sorry for your pain and what happened to bring you to this point. Over the past year I wrote a few notes, and the content now differs very much from the first ones as I was angrier then. If you can, at least sleep on it a few days. I hope you can find peace within and not feel rushed, especially with your hope in a future. Here are some posts I bookmarked which may be helpful. i dont even feel the need to write a note and explain myself. i dont want to anyway. i think everyone knows how i feel about them, how i feel in general and my reasons for ctb. i might want to write out which belongings of mine i want distributed among my family members but thats it.

I'm probably gonna put stuff about being grateful for the people around me in my suicide note(s?) (as well as my reasons on why). I have no idea if it's helpful or not but I hope it stops anybody from blaming themselves and gives them a little thing to remember me by. Also, with my method, it could easily be debated whether it was suicide or an accident, so that'd settle the case
As for the question about selfishness, I have no idea. I've always been a selfish person so I wouldn't be suprised if it is selfish, but I wouldn't be suprised if it isn't. Depends heavily on personal opinion I suppose. Aka, it can be selfish if you make if selfish I suppose
