Could it be considered a method? I don't know exactly what symptoms someone might experience after drinking a large amount of energy drinks, maybe tachycardia? I think this method could work perfectly for students and workers/employees. It would appear "accidental," as if someone had just inattentively drunk a few too many cans during an all-nighter trying to get work done. Energy drinks are also easy to get. I'm not sure about the lethal dosage though, I think it varies from person to person, especially for those with cardiovascular conditions. Some people have never tried energy drinks, while others drink them regularly. I suppose the minimum lethal dose might start at around four cans. Age and health are definitely key factors

From my understand no. The main ingredient in energy drinks are caffeine and sugar. I am not aware of sugar causing deaths, but there have been few deaths attributed to caffeine. In all of these cases, the people in question had hearth/cardiovascular problems which made them very sensitive to any stimulants. The lethal dose of caffeine for a normal adults is 150-200 mg per kg of body weight. That can easily mean 50+ cans of energy drink.

Expect a lot of vomiting and massive stomach cramps that feel like period pain does, which may linger around for a week or two depending on how much you manage to drink before the vomiting and caffeine overdose hits your system.

... Is this satire? Energy Drinks can't kill you.
They wear down your body for sure... But compared to hard drugs... They're not really much

Idk people, I keep hearing news about students dying after drinking just a few energy drinks. I guess it's a mix of sleepless nights, exhaustion, poor diet, barely any exercise... and then the energy drinks just push it over the edge

If energy drinks could kill we would have people 16-30 dropping left and right. This would basically be a caffeine OD which only kills if you have some rare, preexisting condition. If caffeine killed that easily coffee would be banned.

While a caffeine OD can happen after consuming only around 1.2g of it, I think it can take anywhere near as much as 10g of caffeine or more to kill you. Your chances of dying from a caffeine overdose through drinking a bunch of energy drinks would be pretty small since most energy drinks usually have maybe 100-200 mg of caffeine in them. If you were to want to ctb using 5 hour energy (200 mg of caffeine per bottle) then I think you would need to drink about 50 bottles of those or more if you wanted to die. It's a poor method that will result in a lot of discomfort but probably not in death.

I think that 100 kg of solid caffeine dropping on you from a significant height might be lethal.

Of course, a pallet load of energy drinks dropping on you could work as well.

Only in rare instances as others noted would ingesting be fatal.
