Years ago, I came up with the idea that I could ctb by anaphylaxis and, according to a quick Google search, that's not unheard of. It's a relatively quick death assuming you consume enough of the allergen to cause the drop in blood pressure that is the main danger in anaphylaxis. I have access to blood pressure medicine I could take beforehand to enhance the effects of the shock if need be. Blood pressure meds, especially beta blockers like propranolol, will also take the edge off the anxiety that comes with anaphylaxis. Because I've had it before and one of the symptoms is "sense of impending doom." It's terrifying, not a peaceful death at all if you don't prepare for it.

It's hard to detect post mortem so no one would suspect it was a suicide. And if you plan your absence no one will be looking for you with an EpiPen.

The only real downside is the itching. Holy hell the itching. What do you guys think?

For best results, I would inject the allergen for a swifter, more severe response.

I'm not going to do this anytime soon, but sometimes on bad days, I think of how easy this would be.

It would be extremely painful, unpleasant, inconsistent, you'd be conscious for most of the time, and you'd have adrenaline rushing through you such that you'd likely panic. A bad idea IMO.

I've had to go to the ER for anaphylaxis before so I have a taste of it. The best part is the method (in my case cashews) is easily available and 100% legal.

I guess I'm back to ecstasy and fentanyl.
