What is the best method to suffocate. How can the discomfort be minimised. I was thinking put a plastic bag over my head and secure the lower part with rubber bands so it can be lifted temporarily to let in some gas. That or just the same but without gas and taking some medication that makes the discomfort less or maybe even a drug that will cause me to pass out fully so I can hold part of it open and breathe comfortably and as I begin to feel myself losing consciousness let it seal to stop more air coming in. What do you guys think ? Does anyone know if there are better methods similar to this. I couldn't find a way to acquire sodium nitrite in my country it's restricted.

Combining the bag with an inert gas like nitrogen is one recommended method. It seems really technical to me though.

No to mention this research: Eyewitness accounts and medical evaluations from recent cases have documented significant physiological distress and involuntary physical reactions during the process, leading to legal arguments that the method may constitute cruel.
U have to research and inert gas like argon for painless suffocation.
Thoughts?

Is there a reason argon is better? Information I've seen says nitrogen, helium, argon are pretty much the same. Argon may be much more expensive though.

Nitrogen has the effect to human as i mentioned, painful. Look at utube 4 research, looks scary. 100% Helium in my country will only be sold to businesses since it was used by so many young people. Argon is readily available online. Bc its a welding gas so u can order it online n del to your door step. With regulator n tubing.
