Suffering from severe painful unbearable illness - Want to CTB

Hi.

I am suffering with a rare and severely painful disease for two years now. The disease is so complex that even doctors have no idea my prognosis. Basically I wait here in limbo suffering severely day and night not knowing when is my time. I applied to Pegasos in Switzerland and since they took my deposot of $5000 two weeks ago… i have not heard back. I am infuriated. I am afraid they may have scammed me. I am debating taking all the pills I have. Can anyone gove me their opinion on this and if they think it would work? I have 60 pills of Temazepam (Restirol) at 7.5mg each, 54 pills of Vicodin at 5mg/325mg tylenol each, 30 pills Diazepam (Valium) at 5mg each, and 60 pills alprazolam (Xanax) at .25mg

Do you think this would do the job if no one finds me in time?

I also can add Cyclobenzaprine and Hydroxyzine too. I have 50 pills Cyclobenzaprine (not sure dosage) and 22 pills Hydroxyzine at 10 mg each.

Please help. I need serious input here.

I was going to do Pegasos, and did a good part of my application. I just got stuck with all the medical documents they need, and then I was able to get the N in the middle of it all.

You're putting yourself at a huge risk of failure with those pills, and could wind up in worse condition than you're in.

I always found Pegasos very responsive, and they only have my membership fee.

If it's on record that you suffer from depression, too, the process takes even longer.

I urge you to contact them daily if you have to, PLEASE! That mixture is a big unknown and an even bigger risk.

I don't know much about those specific pills, but rarely is a pill overdose an effective suicide option as most of the time vomit is induced before death. I wish I could provide more help, I hope you find peace and healing on your journey.

Thank you SO MUCH for your response. I emailed them when I sent the deposit and they emailed me back that they would let me know when it was received. I have emailed them since 3 times in the past two weeks! And they have not responded. Im just worried and I told them my case was urgent as I really am in unbearable suffering.

I do not have documented clinical depression (although I am suffering from depression from the suffering obviously) but my psychiatrist knows I am of aound mind but in severe pain and distress. I just want a quick end and I know the pills are risky but Idk how much longer I can wait

Okay. I will try to wait. I am just in so much physical pain and distress. Its truly unbearable pain and not able to be managed by medication

Thank you. It's been ongoing for two years. Can't get the help I need. Never heard of suffering this severely in my entire life and I am a Physical Therapist w a doctorate degree and have worked w the chronically ill for years. It's insanity! I just emailed them again. I will keep pestering them I suppose but when you are suffering this severely it feels like an eternity. Traveling will also be very difficult for me. With those pills… many of the combination of them that i have were found in Heath Ledger and Anna Nicole Smiths toxicology report upon their deaths… that's why I thought maybe it would work for me.

I just wrote another email. Its my 4th email. The guy said he would let me know when they received the deposit and its been two weeks. He told me 3-5 business days and its well over that. So its concerning me. I don't want them to think Im crazy by emailing them everyday but that is a lot of money to have on the line

On another thread someone else is saying there are others who sent their deposit and never heard back. This is quite shocking and concerning.

Not that this is a good excuse, but it's possible they are very backlogged after the national news about the Phoenix, AZ sisters, neither of whom were "sick" received VAD pretty quickly. It would've been even quicker if it wasn't for COVID.

I can only imagine your frustration and probably anger.

They confirmed receipt of payment and are working on my approval process. I must say… I was ready to take my pills last night. The suffering is so immense. May I ask what it is you are suffering with as well that makes you want to leave?

I'm suffering from screaming tinnitus that has made my already horrible insomnia unbearable. I also deal with severe pain in my back and feet, although I'm sure it's not even close to what to have to endure.

I've had Major Depressive Disorder forever, and it's become totally treatment resistant. Making that exponentially worse is being an non-human-animal-loving vegan living in a non-vegan world aka Vystopia.

So, I greatly suffer personally, both my body and mind, but what's even worse is seeing and knowing the suffering of the most innocent beings at the hands of humans.

I'm also an antinatalist, and while I'm a definite misanthrope, unfortunately, I'm overloaded with empathy. I'm pretty much in a constant state of grief.

I merely exist and feel guilty that I'm unable to do anything to help others, but still use the precious resources of the planet.

I was going to use Pegasos because the tinnitus has taken away what I've always valued most, peace and quiet and the escape of slumber. And because of a botched foot surgery, I can no longer get away on hikes and be with nature.

I just want to tell you again how RELIEVED I am that Pegasos reached out to you just in time. I was terrified, that despairingly, you would make something that awful so much worse

When this first started… I had high pitched screeching in my ears that was absolutely horrific. So I can relate. And I do get ringing in the ears now from time to time. These synptoms can made you go absolutely mad. Now I feel poisoned and highly infected. I have no stop nasty heart palpitations, my body feels like it is in constant severe motion, and all the nerves in my face and skull feel destroyed. It feels as tho someone has ripped my face off, poured acid all over the nerves, placed my face on a frying pan and then put my face back together with glue and melded steel .it is absolutely horrific. The auffering is so immense and my anxiety sky high due to the torment. I have always dealt with anxiety but I have always been a happy, positive, vibrant and free spirited girl. This has brought me to the lowest of lows and darkest of suffering and destroyed my beautiful life. Such a tragedy. I am sorry for your suffering as well. I truly pray we are granted peace again one day. Please pray for me I can endure this long enough to get to Switzerland Also, you said yoh acquired N… HOW on earth did you get it?!

Not that this will, or should, have any effect on either of the two posters regarding their beliefs regarding vegan diets, nor on their unbearable and, obviously, painful conditions that I'm sure are very real and debilitating, but I knew a guy who was suffering from symptoms very much like those highlighted by either of them. He went to a few doctors trying to find out what was wrong. The last doctor he found probed a little deeper than the previous ones and found out that this man's wife had instituted a new diet in their household which eliminated meat from their diets. The doctor told him he needed to start eating meat again immediately. Lo and behold, all of the symptoms he was experiencing went away. If I remember right, it wasn't as much about the protein, or lack of protein he was getting from the vegetarian diet, it had something to do with enzymes or something that can only be obtained from meat products and can't be gotten from any vegetables or fruits. He had serious tinnitus, too, along with strange aches and pains, and stomach issues that all went away when he started on meat again. I'm just saying. I'm also, "mostly", a vegetarian, but not vegan, but I haven't had issues to that degree, but I do get some strange symptoms on occasion, and when that happens, I eat some baked chicken, and almost instantly feel much better. The "better" lasts for however long it lasts, and I just go on with my vegetarian diet until I start feeling those symptoms again.

2. the right to die organizations can take weeks to get back to you, they have many cases to process
3. The pill method isn't the most ideal, as the body has ways to vomit up medications taken
4. if you do get in with them i wish i could in my country but i am unable to get out there to actually go through with it so i will be on my own, best of luck to you. I am a bit jealous that you have that option.

Stop spreading rumors about Pegasos ! Delete this or I have to report it. I know Pegasos very well and I think it´s the best and most liberal VAD association in Switzerland. After you sent in ALL required paperwork, processing usually takes 6 weeks.

I wasn't spreading rumors. Take it easy. I knew very little about them and was genuinely concerned that I had sent ALL my paperwork and a large sum of money and the guy said he would get back to me in a certain time frame and didn't. Hence why I came on here to ASK about this issue. So relax. I had every right to express concern.

I can imagine that it must be a relief to have a date set. That sounds so horrifying and unbearable what you have to endure. I'm sorry that life was so cruel. It is terrifying how so many health conditions even exist. I hope that you find what you are looking for.
