Firstly can you do it, you have to stab deep so the knife puncture the internal organs and you die mostly because of blood loss

To be fair, Seppuku is nowhere near stabbing.


A successful stabbing would mean that you either cause your body to loose enough blood or by damaging your organs enough.

Well, I guess a small trip to the human anatomy is of big help here. Then you might find it easier on where to aim at :)

I think you'd have better luck cutting an artery in your leg and just bleed out. It would still be hard, I reckon. Sounds too painful to me. I'm a wuss. I don't want any pain, or as little as possible. And I want it as quick as possible, too. Stabbing doesn't fit the bill for me.

I was thinking of stabbing myself as it seems like the easiest and safest option to me (in case of failure) but as far as effectiveness goes it all depends on your SI.

I wouldn't reccomend this. Very painful death, high chance of messing up and the SI will likely kick in. Unless you're deadly high or very desperate, then I don't think it can be done.

I agree that this method sounds risky, there is a reason as to why it's not included in the suicide resource complination. I think that if someone tried to attempt this it would very likely just lead to injuries because of the SI.

Stabbing your own self is actually extremely hard and painful, so if you dont want pain, dont do it

From the video it sounds (and looks) rather painful so i'll probably stay far away from stabbing myself unless im wasted or desperate.

I thought this was fake at first.
With a prosthetic stomach, movie blood.
I don't get how she kept in so much pain and moved across like that. No yelling. No Hesitation. Intense.
She Had to be numb from something.
And why she did it.

I don't get why they took her eyeball. That's when I was questioning if this was real.

Besides that though. Don't people usually just slice in a upward motion along the wrist / arm.

I cut my wrist once when I was idk 16? All fucked up on booze n drugs in the moment.
But right when I saw blood I immediately got a rag and wrapped it. Still have a nasty scar.
Next day - week.
was ALOT of pain. Never did that again.

I think if you stab yourself in the neck and cut a major vessel you can bleed out and die. Not sure how painful it would be. Probably pretty hard to execute.
