ssri recommendation help

so, quick disclaimer… i do want to fucking die.

however, i've also been entertaining the idea of getting some drugs from the dealers in the lab coats (psychiatrist, pharmacist) .

i want to know from the ssri crowd which meds cause "emotional blunting."
like, seriously, which meds can i pop that will emotionally turn me into a fucking pool noodle.

because i literally can't with my mind anymore and I feel like I can be more "locked in" and less in my head if nothing is there.

if y'all can help me with those recommendations, that would be dope (no pun intended) because I need to know what meds I can convince the psych to prescribe me with.

I have tried sertraline and voxitin , they are both in ssri range. None of them helped me with emotional blunting

Get a recommendation from your doctor. They actually know their drugs pretty well

In my personal experience, citalopram/Celexa made me feel like a block of wood. I didn't care for this, as it impacted my job performance at the time, and made the qualitative difference between winning the lottery and walking into traffic seem negligible. In hindsight, I should have doubled my dose and sauntered into the loving embrace of truck-kun.

Just so you know, SSRIs effect everyone differently. So your millage may very based on recommendations said.

That said, I took venlafaxine and it made me not give a fuck about anything. I had some emotions but was very "eh, whatever". I also had a ton of other unpleasant side effects so I quit taking it.
