I've heard from a lot of people that .. we are here to merely "experience and learn" , and that we were given this fucked up path "for a reason" .. with the explanation we just can't see the bigger picture ..

While I don't really believe that..because why would I pick such a.. torturous existence… when I could've, I dunno, picked slightlybetter circumstances ? .

I know that love is the way.. and to just.. be friendly to people, be kind and to just love..

And then I think about the people who are so negative.. so evil.. and I often ponder the stark comparison between other humans..

It gets me thinking about what their repercussions will be after they leave this world.. and what mine will be.. or if anything at all..

The itch grows stronger each day and I find myself thinking about it when I'm out running errands. Thinking about what I'd potentially be missing , and how everything is going to play out after I leave .. with the war and everything…

I think about times before technology, humans dancing in fields, their small village in the background .. sure we may live very comfortable lives now, but…so much more complex, I don't think it's worth it

Some interesting thoughts. Some people also believe in the divine plan and the omnipresent, omnipotent god which I guess gives some credence to our existence now and here after. I also believe that loving kindness towards self and others brings a little light into our world. Personally, I believe everything is random by nature but it is the intent of humanity that brings about the cause and effect of the world today. Unfortunately, I think humankind has reached saturation point and has turned into a dark sinister path. Yes, wars, famine, pollution, poverty homelessness.....does anyone care!?. I dont believe in the omnipresent god but if by chance there is a god; I think God is about to wash their hands of us. Failing that, nature will finish us......

I absolutely agree with the saturation point … it is like a bubble that's about to burst.. hell.. I got my kids telling me there's people on tictok making hundreds of dollars acting like a damn robot!! I just do not understand..WHO pays for stuff like that???

Meanwhile just like you said, we got people starving and cardboard neighborhoods going up left and right … but nobody bats a fuckin eye! We as a society have gotten soooo far off the beaten path that there is no way we can turn back, and a slim to none chance it ends good… we are merely an experiment that's went rogue I think ..

Like an ant farm is all fun and games until they're stacking in the corners eating away at the corners trying to escape ..
And then, the minute the ants start killing themselves…blowin shit up…… That's when the creator says what the fuck

Yeah- I've heard that before- that we actually CHOOSE to live and maybe pick out our individual lives themselves. So- for me- either that means we're able to feel bored while being non existent- seems odd I don't remember it though. OR- the equivalent of the travel agent that sold this package deal of life to me lied. OR- the nice part of me saw that my parents desperately wanted children. I'd like to think the kind part of me wanted to be that child for them. Clearly though- I only flicked through the first 3 years of the brochure- after that, it all went pretty much to shit. That wouldn't surprise me though- I've never really liked reading. Maybe that's my lesson then- read the smallprint before you agree!

I just personally think any theories like that are fictional, I see existence as being completely unnecessary, it's just meaningless suffering and senseless cruelty all for no purpose with no deeper meaning behind it, to me existence is just a horrific, tragic mistake but when we lose consciousness that's it for us, we are gone and there is nothingness for all eternity. We exist in this world where people suffer for no deeper reason all through no fault of their own, I don't think there's such a thing as souls, we only exist as other people decided to force life here, that's all.
