• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I asked my mom about my diagnosis of intellectual disability, she in a disgusted tone
said no, I'm just lazy """""smart""""""" (she thinks I am because of my diagnosis also of autism) and supposedly the psychiatrist said I'm smart, it seems she doesn't want to accept reality for some reason. I've been thinking about going to a neurologist due to maybe the origin of my ID is when I had fetal distress during my mother's birth but I'm afraid to tell my mother about it, maybe she will tell me the same as always: "you're an exaggerator", "pfff you have nothing", "you're lazy", "me at your age blah blah blah blah".

Besides if in the hypothetical case that there is a lot of evidence that I have ID after many studies, I don't want other stupid prejudices from her, it's enough with the autism nonsense.

I simply will never understand how parents can say such things to their children. Besides the fact it's blatantly dismissive, it basically goes against the fundamental principals of raising another human, one with complex emotions that can't simply be negated with "You have it easy."

People who cannot grasp this simple concept shouldn't be having kids.

She spoiled me but in my childhood she beat me (I don't know if a lot) and insulted me, I don't know if my family or people hurt me because I don't remember anything of my past, my mind is closed with that.

I would have wished for a present father, a strict family to make me a stronger guy, now just a useless crybaby retard.

Does anyone have any advice?

By the way, if my vent text sounds weird, I use a deepl translator (although my original language is not the best either).
