When I spoke with Stan, he told me that Omepradex won't cause interactions with antacid and when I asked him if it can affect SN effect or quality he told nothing that he can see.

Thank you. i've been taking lansoprazole for years for reflux caused by sliding hiatus hernia... if i forget my med in morning i am in discomfort by lunchtime, never endured longer off it... really reluctant to stop my meds and spend last weeks like that but really worried sn won't be successfully absorbed after reading stans guide.

i'm confused. One sucessful case study used ppi instead on antacid, yet later on guide talks about ppis being stopped as may affect absorption of sn... few comments in various threads on here offer conflicting views.

Just seeing this now, but has anyone who ordered from the Ukraine seller on the crafts site received a visit? God, this is really concerning... missing the days when the UK was one of the easiest places to buy SN haha.

Just found this thread and I'm freaking out a bit. I ordered from the same seller twice last March! Neither arrived. The first time it didn't arrive they gave me a refund and then I ordered a second time but didn't get the delivery again but didn't want to go through the whole refund thing again because my post must have been intercepted. So many of you have said you've had a visit but I haven't. It's a few weeks later now so is it likely I'm safe? I realllllly don't want the cops turning up while my mums home constantly on furlough! Maybe because they've already seized it before it was delivered they know I don't have it so don't need to come?

It sounds like you are probably safe because you do not have any from their guy... And they know that so they probably will not bother you? That was my first thought anyway, but who knows what that was all about, really?

@Spitfire I really hope so! Ironically after searching for somewhere to buy it again for weeks, I've managed to order some tonight just before I saw this thread so I don't want them turning up and finding it when it comes!

Well, maybe it shows up or maybe it doesn't show up?

Hopefully, it comes through for you though safe and sound with no issues, and I guess you will just have to wait and see?

No one has come for me thus far. I think, possibly, it was one specific seller from the UK that they were targeting and they visited the buyers from that seller wherever they happened to be in the world. Unless anyone can tell me different?

Even if they visit you, you shouldn't worry that much. They would ask if you ordered SN from that seller and if you say yes, they will ASK if you would kindly surrender it to them. At this point just lie

Ah I see, didn't realise you ordered from the targeted seller. I see you were a member of this site before you ordered? Is that correct? (You don't have to answer that but I wondered if they only targeted people who bought from that seller and were members of this site. I'm just trying to get my head around why some were visited and some weren't).

Basically trying to work out whether to expect a knock or not. Like you've said, it's been a long while now so hopefully it's passed but hope is not a strong skill of mine!!

Yeah I was a member before I ordered.. it's the fact that the OP said they ordered and cancelled yet still had a visit.. and I ordered twice! Thanking my lucky stars that I haven't had a visit and guess I'll just have to hope that it stays that way, and like others have said, just lie if they do visit. I'm more bothered about my mum finding out.. don't want that can of worms opened

I've had bad experiences with the police and don't trust them at all hence why I've stayed hidden in my house for nearly 2 years. Just don't want to give them any reason to 136 me again.. :( ah well all I can do is hope they stay away! But yeah I will lie if they do come! Thank you :)

I just want to reassure people a bit who have got worried due to this thread. Firstly it was one policeman on his own who came to my house, he was perfectly nice to me, I got him to come into a private room in my house away from my husband so what we talked about couldn't be overheard..
I feel like if any of you guys are worried because you live with parents then if police turn up just ask if you can speak to them privately like even outside in the police car! .. then make up some lie to your family about why they wanted to speak to you.
It was only people who bought from M****c*** based in the south of the uk that they were visiting. Definitely.. as there were so many deaths linked to purchases from this seller.
Obviously I can't say for sure if further investigations will open linked to other sellers but how SN has been clamped down on in the uk in recent times I'm not sure how likely that is. I think that particular uk seller was quite unique in this country for the ease of purchasing SN.

The only thing that pissed me off well and truly was my husband answered the door and the guy asked for me and came in and said it's about sodium nitrite in front of my husband... at which point I made it clear I wanted to go somewhere private to talk about it, which he was cool with. And I feel like the policeman shouldn't have said that in front of my husband.
BUT I really think they wouldn't normally do that. I really think they would normally be more private about revealing information like that.

Yeah I ordered SN from M****c*** twice last March. That's why I was freaking out.. but I haven't had a visit so I'll just have to keep everything crossed that it stays that way :) I'm also agoraphobic so don't go out unless I have to take a kitten I'm fostering to the vets and only because my mum comes with me.. so making up an excuse will be a bit difficult if it comes to that. Hopefully it won't though :)

In England and Wales under s17 PACE police can and regularly do force entry without a warrant if there's believed to be good cause to believe someone might be an immediate danger to themselves.
This is the power behind welfare checks used day in day out in MH. They can confiscate under same legislation. For those abroad PACE is the police and criminal evidence act which rules how police meant to lawfully act and gives powers.

And no, not undercover. Simply victim of far too many over my ( long) lifetime. Wouldn't ever believe what they state mind you on accuracy and detail....

In England police dont need warrants ....welfare checks are covered by s17 PACE which allows police to force entry and search for and remove items that may be putting you in immediate danger. Immediate being the threshold but not answering door is held to meet that threshold if you are already considered vulnerable/ on their radar.
Given most police detest being used a mental health crisis workers and have little or no training they are often more than happy to be reassured on the doorstep that everything is OK . If come in just be over polite offer tea and they will leave very quickly.

're legality of possessing and buying SN in England has anyone got a quick link to the legislation ? Know illegal to sell unless certian conditions are met but these are mostly commercial thresholds and not under control of Drugs Act .

Links to above police powers only loosely as under s17 they can search and take but wondered beyond this what anyone could be charged with. Personally at point in life not bothered . But know for others it's an issue. And like Many said just holding can act as a safety net or security blanket or protect against more unreliable or violent methods.

The police actually visited me about a purchase I made last year or the year before. As you can see from my post history I'm quite the impulsive person so stupidly threw it away as the mood has gone however I'm quite regretful now.

This is exactly the same as me! I'm a different person from one hour too the next. That's why I cancelled the initial order. Now have more on the way.. which I'll probably end up chucking out then regretting it.

Yes it was 10 months after my order they visited me.
