Just a heads up really and wondering if anyone else has had a police visit. I just had the police at my door questioning me over an SN purchase I made on eBay 10 months ago. The policeman told me the seller is being investigated over 17 deaths from SN he sold. The police have 147 names of buyers and are checking up on them, seizing the SN if it's in the house.

No I had actually cancelled the order before receiving it. I changed my mind about that method for me. But he told me he'd have seized it if I did still have it.

There was another thread today in which another UK member got contacted by email because of the polish SN.

Anyone who bought from this former source should hide it now.

I somehow believe them. But I agree with you and probably the police asked them to give the SN back and they naively surrendered it.

I'm in Ireland so idk if the police here have copped on to SN yet, it's no longer my chosen method but I did purchase it last year

Also shit like this, done in the name of "suicide prevention", is only going to make people more desperate to ctb and make them feel a sense of pressure and urgency to do it asap
For example, just knowing you have SN, N etc. takes the immediate pressure off needing to ctb for many people, but having the threat of cops showing up to your house is going to just make people do it prematurely or even impulsively/illogically potentially which is heartbreaking

Precisely. The amount of threads here with 'I feel less suicidal now I have my SN', surely a lot of these purchases end up never being used anyway. Wonder if they'll start clamping down on the craft site stuff?

It's not the Polish source but the former UK source M*. It's because of these presumptuous coroner reports lately which not only belittled people they don't even know as "vulnerable" but also asked for action being taken to deny them the right to self-determination. The seller/auction site has taken down the product months ago but they were either forced or voluntarily handed out sales information.

PS: For what it's worth, if you're reading this M*, you did nothing wrong nor are you responsible. We are our own persons, who have a right to self-determination and are not accountable to the state on what we do with our lives.
