• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I've been thinking about suicide for years and especially recently, I had a plan ready and everything.
To preface I am in UK.

Unfortunately as I near'd the date of my plan more I came to realise that SN is highly regulated and requires an educational establishment or business in order to be approved for purchase.

I've looked around and it seems to be the case everywhere for this now.

Is this method truly patched?
How depressing...

I don't see the point of SN being this regulated in the UK... residents will just find different methods, albeit they would be more difficult and more painful to do. Those who had SN as their only option are just going to be more miserable. It really is a shame.

I wonder if there's any countries one could fly to with less restrictions.

I thought the same thing. Curious to know if anyone has ideas about where getting SN delivered from the usual source would go smoothly.

Yeah, same with Canada. Need to be a licensed business with a valid industrial use to purchase SN. I'd assume it's due to the increased awareness of SN and how it's used (media outlets that reported on it).

So I'll likely need to use an alternative. Do you have an alternative that you've thought of? How close are you to your date

Where/who did you order from? Are you in the USA, Canada, Australia, or UK?

If I recall correctly, the usual source has been charged and is going to be on trial. The guy from Canada right?

Not impossible, you need to try smaller businesses, foreign businesses, I have SN but the source I got it from is no longer selling

Only way to get SN in any first world country is to buy it from a foreign source, it's been regulated for years. Ergo why everyone here glazes DSL.

I'd forget about it arriving. Customs must have some sort of flag on parcels coming from DSL. Its been nearly 4 weeks for mine. Arrived in the UK on the 8th and has been stuck ever since. Only took 2 weeks to arrive the first time.

EDIT: Didn't realise you were Irish, maybe you have a better chance. Fingers crossed for you šŸ¤ž
