SN held at postal office

So my SN from DMC is being held at the post office right now for some unknown reason, and I'm scared that when I go to pick it up the police will tackle me.idk what to do,

Sometimes temperature specific, live food, or valuable packages get held at the post office. Usually occurs when person wasn't available or at the door for receiving delivery. You can call and see if they can add it to the next delivering vehicle, or you can pick it up in person. It should be fine.

They need some way to prove that the package belongs to you, so they'll almost certainly ask for ID with the same name as the name on the package.

Any time I get a missed delivery slip, it says they won't release the mail without ID and they can't just put it back on the truck. No choice but for me to pick it up in person and provide government ID to claim it.

Dude, my post office holds shit just to hold shit. I always ask "why was this held" and the guy at the counter just shrugs. Candy, shoes, mail the week AFTER my vacation hold. I wouldn't read into it. They have your address. If the police were after you they would just come to your house.

I would go pick it up and wouldn't care BUT before you go research different ways it can be used legally. If they ask you when you arrive, then be prepared to elaborate on what you're using it for. I doubt the police will be there fyi. Speak with confidence and make sure you look nice when you arrive. You came this far, don't let your package sit there. The post office have other things to be worried about then SN.

If you're under 21 they can be a problem. If you are over 21, go get your package and to hell with the post office!
