Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

Honestly, getting an unmarked package of powder from some overseas country.... seems so risky to me! And then, to test it is, for the lay person, very challenging.

Even though it seems many are being able to source it atm, I just don't know that I'd be able to take it with so little certainty about the powder....

At least with drugs if you can get them they come in the blister pack and seem to be legit...

This method has been mentioned in some publications; the concentration can be checked using aquarium water test kits. In addition, in some countries, the food additive E250 (≥99%) is sold without any restrictions. Over-the-counter and prescription medications are not particularly reliable, more details on this can be found in materials on suicide.

I suppose when multiple people have died by using the substance from the same seller- there is some assurance that it works.

That said- I believe there was a case once here where a lady just became very ill while attempting- without dying. The general consensus was that she had been sent the wrong product- seeing as she had followed the protocol otherwise. The look of what she had didn't sound right too.

I wouldn't go as far as calling it a non method. If anything- like Sedfg said- many overdoses are more like non methods. Especially over the counter meds. They're designed to be safer now.

That said- it absolutely carries risk. Not only that we can't really be entirely sure of what we have but- we can't know how our own bodies will react to it. People do seem to report varying experiences with SN. Sometimes, less peaceful than others.

If reputable sources kept being taken down it might soon be. Having to source one from a less reputable source with less certainty about it's purity might result in a failure. Although there are options to test the substance, it cannot determine exactly how pure is it only an estimate CMIIW.

Fair point if it is sold in your country. Agree that ODs are not reliable. Good points.

Then consider other methods.

I'm a "lay person" and I tested it. It wasn't difficult.

Little certainty? That's why we test it. Once it passes, we can be certain that it's pure enough to be lethal.
