These goodbye threads always hit the hardest. It happens so quickly, which I guess is for the best and means it was relatively painless. But it always hits so hard knowing you just witnessed someone in their last moments, and now they're just gone. Rest in peace

I recall this guy's story. Had a partner and two kids. Partner saw a shrink who convinced her he had been abusing her, so she split up with him.

What I didn't realise is that he was already struggling before this and was on this site before the split. Looking through his post history, his family was the only thing that was keeping him going. Then he lost that too. Tragic.

My ex ran with a similar narrative that broke me for a bit, it can make you question your own reality. I was very saddened by his story, but can only hope he was at peace when he left us.

It seems after a few minutes spelling errors are quite usual as consciousness is fading.

Tiredone was only my second but I remember when Lonelykitten passed last week someone commented that the spelling in her last post was as to be expected with SN.
