Yup, I just looked it up BonneBouffe is on the Jungle site of UK. It's the wrong kind :-( So sorry you've had this experience. How horrific it is to wake up after having the courage to ctb. Are you from the UK? There's a few people who are and managed to get some. Search the threads. you'll see the posts. Good luck.

Ok this seems to be happening to a few people because most curing salts that are offered for purchase on the jungle site only contain 0.6% of Nitrite.

For this method to result in CTB it is necessary to find SN with a 95% or higher purity. Meaning 100g of product contain 95 g SN and 5g "other additives".

Curing salt with 0.6% nitrite means you have 0.6g SN mixed with 99.4g of "other" stuff. Mostly simple household salt.

So, if you used 20g of curing salt it would have contained less than 0.15g of SN.

I think I would personally find it comforting if I had SN. I'm sorry for all the suffering that has brought you to this point, I am also tired. I wish you the best in whatever you decide to do.

Yes--When I finally got my Nitrogen tank, I found it quite comforting also

Oh gosh, that's a terrible way to wake up. I feel sorry for you man.

Hopefully soon I'll have the courage to do what you did, ofcourse with right salt though. I don't think that mentally I'd be able to handle such a mistake myself.
