Discussion Small acts of kindness you experienced?

Mby it's just me, but I think that kindness has become pretty rare these days. Well anyway, recently a random guy working at some coffee shop just gave me a blueberry muffin for free and I thought that this was pretty cool. I mean I guess it could also be a sales strategy to retain customers, but I like to think that it was a small act of kindness.

When travelling by bus some old lady gave me free strawberries. I was in a foreign country and things like that never happened in my home country.

That's sweet. When I traveled to Russia from Estonia a couple of years ago by bus, an elderly couple helped me quite a bit and told me what to do at the border checkpoint, was nice of them

At my previous job a co-worker in the kitchen would randomly leave little things for me to eat on a shelf by my wine rack until she got caught like a mouse stealing cheese (literally, it was Gruyère).

My neighbor remembers my name. Whenever I leave the house and she's lounging on her porch, she makes sure to say hello.

That's nice, I really like small gestures like that, they can sometimes make your day legitimately better
