and exactly what do you mean by "can't let go of the rope"? :)
sorr,y i'm very unedcuated on the science behind hanging.

1/ i did it outside
2/ when doing full suspension hanging you can start lowering yourself little by little while holding on to the rope, once you're completely lowered, you should let go of the rope and hang only by the neck, in my case whenever i lower myself i can't let go and simply pull myself back up

Yeah, hanging is tough. I keep missing out with my practice attempts of partial hanging/ligature strangulation. My SI kicks in.
