Serious situation

I just came back to my room from my doctor. For the first time she talked about a very serious situation. I might have had a light brain stroke for the second time in the past few weeks. I'll be back in the intensive care unit this afternoon so they can control it. I don't know how much longer I can take this

Medical illness are painful. I don't have much experience. Illnesses have serious pain. I very hardly survived a brain tumor. It was a miracle.I felt the same way. There was too much physical pain near what I felt was the end it was taking a toll on my mind. I just wanted to give up but lived through miracle. I can understand you. If things are getting out of hand in a medical illness it is not foolish to take the easy way out.its not easy but it is sometimes better

Can I ask what your medical condition is? I have many autoimmune conditions and a genetic issue. One condition I have actively destroys sensory nerves through body. It's now impacting all cranial nerves. I live on a liquid diet and find that difficult to consume now.

I have Multiple Sclerosis which gets worse every day. I had several seizures over the last few days. It's getting harder to move and talk. Might be in a wheelchair permanently soon

I'm so sorry to hear this Jule.
I know you just recently had surgery and everything was looking ok.
But now this ?
It's dreadful how much you are going through here, and it's understandable that you have had more than enough.
Life is incredibly cruel to some of us and for no logical reason whatsoever.
But there are those of us here who are thinking of you , and hoping that things can improve for the better.
Or maybe you have just had enough now and feel it's time to go.
Either way, I wish you peace in whatever you decide.

I am so sorry . I can't imagine not being able to swallow liquid food and losing your senses . I feel the most in this forum for you , Jules and others in similar predicament. These diseases come from absolutely nowhere to wreck someones life . These words feel so insufficient "wreck" , "unimaginable" , "feel" to describe what you must be going through. I have so much to say but nothing to make you heal your condition.

I have read your posts Jule. MS is horrible. I imagine you've tried everything available to you. I have a long list of autoimmune conditions. One is Sjogrens, it affects me neurologically. Because it's often in the ganglion cells in the spine, they can't see it on scans so they gaslight people quite severely.
I hope you have a reasonable quality of life but see your latest admission must be incredibly difficult for you. I'm surprised there aren't more people in a similar situation to us on here

That sounds really horrific what you have to go through, I think it's certainly such a hellish world we exist in where people suffer like this all through no fault of their own. But anyway I wish you the best.

Thanks for your words. It's a weird situation, as now I know pretty much for sure that things won't get better anymore. I'm getting prepared for the things that may come up. And I'm ok with it. Until last year I had a wonderful life. I'm working out my plan now and keep you updated. It won't be easy, but I know, when it comes to it, I will have friends by my side

I'm so sorry you are exposed to this crap, especially while dealing with so much else.
