Sense of urgency

My mom found my popup tent i had saved for bad days (carbon monoxide ctb). I put it originally behind my shelf but that meant the shelf wasnt completly stuck to the wall and it prevented the door from opening properly. I said it was just an online purchase and quickly hid it, she didnt find out it was a tent, neither what for. This scared the shit out of me obviously and I got so anxious that i considered commiting before more gets found out and before i potentially have to explain why tf i bought a tent (i am literally indoors all the time). So basically really worried i will soon have to explain what i really bought a tent for (as well as disposable bbqs) and obviously get it taken away. That is something i REALLY dont want to happen. I am quite helpless right now.
And yes i feel urgent to commit prematurely before my plan gets destroyed.
