So my SN arrived today.

I basically have everything I need now. Would love to have benzos or something, but I don't see myself getting that. I have social anxiety disorder (the acronym SAD is ironically fitting...), so I have little faith that I'd be able to spin a fancy story of some kind to the doctor in order to get them to prescribe it to me.

I could get some kind of sleep medication though. It contains Doxylamine succinate". Would that help?

The bigger issue for me is the location. I would love to do it at home, but the thing is I don't live alone... but I also can't really think of an alternative place to go to.
Will I make any noise after ingesting the SN? And if so: how loud will I be? Enough to potentially alarm another person?

Also another, kinda silly question, is: consuming alcohol as a part of the process is obviously ill advised. But what about marihuana? Does that interfere with the SN? I'm not sure if the "relaxing" effect of the THC is even that big of a benefit...

Vomiting and laboured breathing are common side effects to SN so, I imagine they could be audible.

I'm no expert but I think some people choose to smoke weed as a kind of antiemetic. I might be wrong about that though... It's a vague recollection.

Some say it's ok, some say it would make you more anxious.

But social anxiety is one reason a doctor would prescribe benzos. If it was me I would go to the doctor complaining of terrible anxiety & I would tell them benzos were effective in the past. The fact that you're nervous about trying to get benzos will translate well with your story.
I just got them from my Doctor really easily. Let your nervousness show the Dr of your need for them. 🤗🌹💔

I don't know if Doxylamine will be enough to relax you or to knock you off to sleep. If you're not able to obtain benzos from your doctor, this post may help you.
But @maniac116 is right, if you suffer from social anxiety why wouldn't a doctor prescribe benzos to you? You don't need a fancy story if you're really struggling with it.

Doing SN at home is strongly advised against. You could experience vomiting, seizures, and your breath may be labored and noisy - see "death rattle".
I understand your concerns though, doing it at home would be appealing to most people, myself included. You could try looking for a place you're comfortable with - if you like nature for example, a campground/glamping resort should be good.

Although cannabis doesn't interfere with the SN absorption, you have to know how you react to it. Some people I know get anxious while on THC so it would be counter-productive in this case. If you're an experienced smoker I see no problem with that. And yes, cannabis has some antiemetic properties, but it's debated. I wouldn't rely solely on that as an antiemetic.
