Sanctioned Suicide being blocked/filtered in Canada?

I've been using this site on and off for two years. Recently my use has been a bit more sporadic, although I still am definitely suicidal.

Today was my first time logging in for a while - maybe one or two months. Usually I just google "sanctioned suicide" and it's the second or third result behind a help line warning and a page from the government of Canada regarding suicide prevention. However, today I looked it up and it was nowhere to be found. I went through the first two pages of google before ultimately just typing in the URL manually (thankfully I remembered it somehow).

Censorship is progressing alarmingly in recent months. There are numerous associations that are trying to censor this site in various countries around the world. Probably even Google is trying to hide the results associated with this site.

I'm in the US and it seems like SS is always going further and further down the page. If you ever have too much trouble finding it, use Yandex - nothing is filtered or censored there.

I had this happen to me too. I had to look for a separate website with the forum linked because I couldn't remember the url.

Bookmark it, but I think they could start doing something bad, but as long as we are protected by section 230 they can f**k themselves

Use duckduckgo for the search engine and browser. I don't typically get any major issues logging in

You can find it very easily on DuckDuckGo and other search engines and also on TOR. As far as I know there is no block but I could be wrong. A quick search myself shows we are not blocked in Canada. There could be other reasons but the search engine I mentioned here has sasu listed right away at the top and then down the list several more listings. But seriously I did not find anything as yet for any plans to block us in Canada. Happy you remembered the address for us. Welcome back.

I'm surprised SaSu shows up in search results at all these days! I actually got lucky and found this site because it was linked to directly somewhere else online ;) You can't really trust search engines to provide relevant information these days huh? I'd bookmark this site if I were you.

It is Google doing that. Any of the privacy-focused, non-giant corporation search engines will put SS at the top if you search for it.
