Venting Said he's "not sure he loves me like that"

Two years in a month.

We were discussing and working on various issues in our relantionship, it was going well, he was finally opening up. At one point I brought up that I'm scared of saing "I love you" because I'm scared I'll be the only one saying it. I always chalked it down to him being too shy to say but being able to demonstrate it in other ways.

He said that he cares and is fond of me, but he's not sure if he loves me.
I asked if he consideres me his girlfriend at least? After two fucking years? I'm a very important woman in his life.

He's not sure he loves me like that.
