• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

    👉 View the ledger here

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

This post may trigger/anger some, so if you're sensitive to this topic, maybe skip this post.

Anyways, a question for the people who self-harm: do you have any "safe" ways of doing it?
And by "safe" I mean something that doesn't cause open wounds, scars or permanent damage.

My anxiety is making want to physically hurt myself. I just want to have some of the pain on the outside rather than inside. But I don't really like the idea of cutting myself - I already have plenty of scars, so I don't need any more.

The purple nurple always kind of hurt when someone did it on the playground but I don't recall any permanent damage ever coming from it.

I write on myself with non-permanent marker and just wash off whatever I've written

A bit far-fetched though, but I think it has some connection to self-harm.

I once blew up a giant structure that I myself had spent two months constructing on a survival server of Minecraft. Didn't have backup of course.

I was surprisingly calm and feeling relieved after that. Maybe it somehow conveyed the message that things I struggle about may not mean too much to me in the end. I could feel a portion of my anxiety or restlessness or whatever went of with that.

Holding ice? I hit myself in the head sometimes with my hand or with objects.
