• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

I think sadness is a major factor, but even so, I feel that so often the good times are so short-lived and the bad times drag on forever. It's just a cost-benefit equation. Being alive is a burden.

We feel becose it was evolutionary beneficial. You're scared of something that's dangerous, to stay away from it. You're happy when something nice happens, cos it's good for you (or just cos it puts dopamine in your brain, aka drugs, alko itc.). Sadness has it's biological logic. If it's pushing you into suicide it means something is not working. Stay strong. Find help. Sadness is not always painful.

you can have long lasting happiness and short lived pain
It sounds like you feel like its possible to experience that kind of happiness but you arent able to achieve it and that is where the pain comes from
