I purchased this rope and I'm hoping it's suitable for partial over the door hanging. It's 3/8" 9mm and seems very durable. I've seen many posts suggesting 10-12mm or more but they are for full suspension, and my store didn't have anything over 9mm

My chosen method is SN and I intend to use that, but I will have a slipknot rope ready in place just in case for some reason SN doesn't work (assuming I am conscious and aware enough to realize) for a backup. I'll also have a knife handy for worst case scenario. I have no intention of failing.

Any thoughts or insight would be welcome.

Idk about the material, but the thickness should be fine.
I tested partial a couple of times but i have weird experiences; Everyday i try, the first time is an instant succes. But since it's just testing, the SI makes me quit.
After that, no matter how much I try, I can't seem to find the "sweet spot" a second time.
I'll just go with full suspension when I'm determined to CTB. I hope I'll be drunk enough to "just kick the bucket".
I'm using a 10,5mm climbing rope.
