Imagine if we knew for sure ghosts were real. Imagine if you could offer your services as a contract 'haunter' after you died. I suppose you could be paid in this life to haunt someone after you die.

Would you do it? Would it matter whether you thought the person deserved it? Would you be on the little bit spooky end or, offer a full on poltergeist experience? Just a silly thought to distract myself with this morning.

I would do it but for free or for just room and board as I assume money is useless or not needed in the afterlife

I would give a full poltergeist experience

but I would be mostly excited to enter peoples televisions, or do stuff from The Shining or transform myself in to different things and cause minor inconveniences and maybe treat it like a celebrity tour because I expect to me all the classic poltergeists and ghouls and beings (would really like to meet all the cenobites)

but also people are weird these days and love monsters and poltergeists so theres a 1% chance I could accidentally find unwanted love

edit: or you could use these services to get onto one of those ghost hunting shows so then they don't seem like they are scamming people but I would definitely troll them

Id want to talk to or hug the person I am haunting, but that might be more terrifying than random disturbances..

I'll probably be consigned to some sort of purgatory as a punishment for killing myself, so I'll bide my town by haunting houses in a bid to get the residents to leave so that millennials seeking home ownership can finally get the American dream. But I'm not particularly scary so I'd probably flop.

I'd haunt my favourite author. She writes horror and lives in a beautiful old mansion with her husband and cat.
