• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

My true reason to get on this forum was to talk to people in recovery section to give them support and help them. It's kinda ironic how now I can't even do that because of my decline mentally. Like now I can't even manage to go through that section since I couldn't even help myself anymore and I also couldn't see myself living by the end of this year.

Recovery section has been difficult for me since the first time. When I found this forum it was just because I was already done. Too many years ago.

If you want to give advice, you can do it. I know it is difficult when you can't agree with your own ideas. But twist it a bit.

Think that it is a sacrifice. Being devasted, doesn't mean you can't help others feel a little bit better.

And I'm plenty sure those in recovery have already been in suicide discussion too.

So one day we past through one to another side... It is completely normal. You gain experience.

And if you one day u leave SaSu at all. It is completely ok too.

We are here to note that we are not all alone.

thank you for giving me this insight :) I feel like a hypocrite giving people advice when I feel like this but seeing it this way made me feel better a little bit

Don't feel like a hypocrite at all! The beauty in this forum rests in sharing new perspectives and strategies to think about depressing situations, to help people break free of their echo chambers and arrive at whatever decision brings peace to THEM. I don't think SaSu is meant to be just happy people lecturing sad people or sad people venting to happy people; if anything, people who need this forum themselves provide the BEST advice. It's so noble you want to help others and I hope you keep that instinct of yours regardless of what's happened. I wish the best for you. 💗
