It is i so wish just stop id take some getting well but without roaring ears i could try least id calm down and be able to eat i am so frightened but its on every nerve i have and ive never had anxiety ever until this i can take a lot i have pain operations but always slept myself better but always had calm head quiet capable happy soul so wish id just die in my bed i cant cope much longer its been 3 years roaring hammering drilling now never stopped once or down dont get it me like this i was very healthy fit calm ate so well lived well busy so many interests it cant be my fate its terrible level now im exhausted im not strong enough to hang myself and dont know how to do the gas or where to get it i pray and pray just down to what i can stand its torture on a scale people arent even tortured x
I'm so very sorry Susan. Have you looked into whether there is A Final Exit group in the UK that can help you do the inert gas method?
I'm so sorry for your situation Susan, so-called doctors prescribe psych meds without knowing how they will affect us, when it goes wrong we're left entirely on our own
Im not aware anyone will legally be able to help me just left on our own with this x
In the US, the final exit network does help some people after reviewing their medical records. Have no idea if this is also true in the UK though

I understand you so well. It's been already a year now with tinnitus and hyperacusia. What can I say? I'm also here because of this. I feel pain in my ears every day. I've heard noises and sounds that doesn't exist all this time without pause. My own voice and most of voices or sounds aren't the same, they're all distorted. When I run I hear like metalic balls hitting each other inside of my ears. I can't even be in a bar, pub, disco, cinema or social reunions. I can't work in noisy places. I can't stop thinking about it. And there's no cure at all and I've tried everything. I send you a big hug.
I'm so sorry that you are having the hearing challenges, and hope medical science can find a solution for them, which sounds like what you really want for yourself.
If you do finally decide that ending is your choice, my hope is that you would use the resources on this site to choose a method that is peaceful and painless and not frightening or violent. I feel we all deserve that much.

I tried a discharge splint, had all my 4 wisdom teeth removed, took ginko biloba and antidepressants for months, went to dentists, physiotherapists, ENT, osteopaths.... and had lots of tests. Pointless.
the only things that have helped me have been pemf, scenar (though some have had bad reactions with their T worsening), hyperbarics and human growth hormone injections. The medication zyprexa has also helped a lot. It is used off label to treat chronic pain. Don't know if any of this is helpful but hopefully you will find something

Could have been cause by ototoxic meds, I think u mentioned you had cancer? Some cancer meds are ototoxic, or noise induced, or acoustic trauma from a concert or headphones . T and h here for a year.
