Rank rope types for partial hanging (generally)

Which type of ropes are best for partial hanging?
Some examples of ropes are scarf, belt, t-shirt, pants, jumping rope, jacket, wire etc.

for full obviously i dont think using belts or scarves is a good idea. for partial however a sturdy belt seems to work good
