Here is a reply I got from the people behind the R2d rebreather. I must say the response was very quick. I asked about shipping and obtaining a good airtight fit. I hope some of you find this helpful.
Just contact me directly regarding any aspect of the purchase and shipping. Regarding obtaining a good airtight fit--The three masks all have inflatable cushion seals around the perimeter, and I would be shocked if you couldn't achieve an airtight seal with one of the three masks. If you needed a larger mask than the largest provided, you could go online and find one (or just let me know and I'll do the research for you). The key to getting an airtight seal is finding the right size mask and tuning the cushion seal to the right degree of inflation. Once you prove to yourself that the seal is good (the User Instructions and the video cover this step), getting the chin and face mask straps to hold the mask firmly in place is only a matter of trial and error. Practice makes perfect in this case, and the new design of the ReBreather allows unlimited opportunity to practice. (Only when you've decided to use the device do you need to attach the canisters. That's a major improvement over the original design.) Best wishes,
