• Hey Guest,

We wanted to share a quick update with the community.

Our public expense ledger is now live, allowing anyone to see how donations are used to support the ongoing operation of the site.

Over the past year, increased regulatory pressure in multiple regions like UK OFCOM and Australia's eSafety has led to higher operational costs, including infrastructure, security, and the need to work with more specialized service providers to keep the site online and stable.

If you value the community and would like to help support its continued operation, donations are greatly appreciated. If you wish to donate via Bank Transfer or other options, please open a ticket.

Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

I've read a number of posts on here about people having their chosen method confiscated because this or that triggered a welfare check or whatever.

I'm a know suicide risk and a number of doctors and other people know that I have made preparations.

So I keep my ticket in a rented storage locker.

Has anyone here taken similar precautions? Any tips?

I have two separate sn kits in two separate locations. If I ever get busted, I have the other as back up. I also use the second kit in case I fail and survive. Social services and mental health have me on their radar but they think I'm well enough because I have used my kits. I'm just waiting for the right opportunity.

Are you in the U.S.? I am also on radar as I've been in psych ward multiple times. Worried about getting busted after ordering from an independent company not known on here.

Mine is just in a cupboard, but I feel like I could hide it quickly if I ever needed to.
Mental health services know I have SN and have done for years but aside from occasionally asking if I'd like them to take it from me they've never seemed like they will confiscate it. Maybe if SN is ever made illegal in the UK that would change.

Nope not from the U.S. I know my rights and I'm sure as hell I'm going to make it difficult for anyone to search my belongings

I'm not entirely set on my method yet, but if it's small enough I will carefully open up some food packaging, put it inside and then close it well enough to make it seem as if it has never been opened, and put the container amongst the other food related items in my house. I learned this trick from an old book about hiding things.

My method is hanging so I need only something that roughly resembles a rope. Unless I am in a psych ward there is no way I will not have access to some sort of rope/rope type object. I am not worried about having access to those.

That said, I have my rope "hidden" with some resistance bands as it looks similar but anyone could look in the bin and see it in there. My guess is that anyone who finds it would think it is just something I use to workout.

I got a rope hidden in my room, it has been there for like over half a year so I think its a pretty good hiding place.

I had a roommate at uni who would put their drugs in white see through plastic bag which he placed in see through container which he filled with sugar or salt. So when room inspection were done nobody noticed.
