Help I'm scared of my death being investigated

That's pretty much it, I'm scared police will investigate my suicide, go through my phone, computer, chats, emails, photos, check my online accounts and stuff like that. It already happened, 4 people in my country killed themselves and they all got linked to this website. They say there's some sort of chat where people encourage you to kill yourself, that it's somehow related to the blue whale challenge or some bullshit like that. They say there are "curators" here that guide you through the process of killing yourself and ask you to do it live on webcam. I am not joking. Even suicides that aren't linked to this forum get investigated, and it always involves going through their phones and personal stuff, looking for someone to blame but themselves. If the river is poisoned they kill the fisherman complaining about the dead fish, they don't look for the source of the poison.

A young girl killed herself back in 2014 due to cyberbullying and the investigation is still kinda ongoing.

I want to DIE peacefully, not wondering what will happen after my death. And sure, you may say "why would you care? you'll be dead", but still. I don't want my death to be exploited by journalists and turned into a "omg the internet is such a dangerous place let's go back to the 50s!!!" panic rush. I want to die, possibly get buried without a funeral, and that's it.

Do you have any tips on how to approach the situation? I thought about erasing my digital footprint but it's hard, I don't even know where to start. I'm really hopeless and scared this will turn into something impulsive. I don't want to risk becoming a vegetable because I was rushed into committing suicide, I want to do it peacefully and take my time. I'm scared

phones and laptops can be factory reset. However, just note that online accounts could be retained for 30 days post deletion, in a way recoverable for investigations

I would recommend deleting gmail/google accounts, desired social media account and use malwarebyte to fully shred desired file(s) if you have a computer, I suggest using this thread to make the investigation go quick at least

I still have contacts of people I flamed out with on my phone, and I'm sure they still gonna find a way to retrieve deleted info. Imagine the cops reach out to the backstabbing fake friends or the boss that fired me about my death. That would be so fucking embarrassing. I will never rest in peace if those fake ass bitches make me a memorial Facebook page or something

If your case is related to something like cyberbullying, it will definitely be investigated, as others have committed a crime.

Often, family members also investigate things just to get their "why? how? for what reason?" answered. But if you leave a suicide note, it probably won't be investigated further.
Nevertheless, here are a few tips:

- Delete everything you don't want anyone to see (keep in mind that there is sometimes a timeframe in which things can be recovered), such as social media, photos, emails

- Destroy your SIM card and ideally all technical devices & bury them. It will be harder to recover them.
